86. "RE: Big Brother 13: What If? Roun..."
After Kalia gloats in the DR about winning the PoV, the other HG do a series of DR's about the PoV competition and the obvious series of event that are about to unfold. Brendon, D!ck and Shelly join Jordan in the HoH room. D!ck says to Brendon, "Did you throw that? I couldn't tell, but it looked kind of funny." "I didn't really throw it," says Brendon, "but I kind of twisted my knee a little bit right before Jordan dropped her ball, and after Adam and Shelly dropped theirs for the second or third time each, I knew Porsche and Kalia had such huge leads that they weren't likely to blow it with the others all dropping their balls over and over, so I slowed down." Jordan says, "Well, I don't have a lot to decide. I'm going to backdoor you after Kalia vetoes her nomination. It's actually a decent game move for me if Jeff does win that vote." "He better win the damn thing," says Brendon. "She's gotta be going crazy being apart from me for this long, and I miss the hell outta her, too."
Every HG in the place knows what's gonna happen next, and the next afternoon, it happens. The next afternoon an outdoor lockdown is called, but after only minutes of small talk Kalia ends it by summoning the HG for the veto meeting. Kalia begins by saying with a smile, "I'd like to open this veto meeting withan announcement: My name is not Marcellas either." The HG laugh their a$$e$ off at that, then Kalia quickly vetoes her own nomination. Jordan gets up and says, "Brendon, you've been saying all week you wanted to go be with Rachel. Not only that, it would be risky for my game to have you still in the house with or without Jeff in here. With all that in mind, I therefore nominate you for eviction in Kalia's place." Kalia closes the meeting and puts the PoV medallion back in its box.
Another series of DR sessions follows, after which most of the HG adjourn to the back yard. Such game talk as there is centers chiefly around the upcoming twist and the possibility of an America's Vote. The only thing the HG have been told is that the HG who gets evicted Thursday will get the chance to compete for a reentry into the BB game, but they have not been told how it will all work or who else will be in the competition. What they do not officially know, but which they all suspect, is that an America's Vote indeed has been going on, the results of which will be revealed during the Thursday live show, and which includes Keith, Lawon, Rachel and Jeff. Daniele was not sequestered due to her illness, so was not included in the vote. The HG will learn on the live show that Jeff won America's Vote with nearly 2 million of the 4+ million votes cast, and will be competing against Brendon to reenter the game. They will not be told about Rachel's post-eviction breakdown, which affected the vote even though it was never shown because the audience members who saw it spilled the beans via tweets after leaving the studio, thus costing Rachel several hundred thousand votes. They'll have to wait till after the game to hear that, but for right now they begin three days of relative boredom as what little game talk there is centers mostly on the twist and the identity of the probable returnee.
