When the houseguests are let back inside, the newbies all begin scrambling to find a suitable replacement. Cassi sums up the situation in private by saying that Brendon would only use the Veto on Rachel. Since Rachel is gone, he's unlikely to be a Marcellas, so she has to find a replacement.Shelly approaches Cassi first and begins suggesting that Dicque go up. She claims that Dicque is a bad influence on others and that's why he should go up against Jeff. Cassi tells Shelly she'll think about it and Shelly leaves.
Dominic & Porsche come up to Cassi next and suggest that Cassi put up either Kalia or Shelly. Cassi says that she's keeping her word not to put up Kalia in exchange for Kalia's voting however Cassi wants but she's willing to consider putting up Shelly since Shelly is still close to Jordan and might get back with Jeff. Both are happy with the idea.
Adam & Dicque come up next to talk strategy with Cassi. They suggest Jordan for two obvious reasons: first, she's also a veteran. Second and more important, she's aligned with Jeff. Cassi thinks that's probably her best choice but she has to look at all options before deciding for sure.
Jordan sits down beside Jeff in backyard lounge chairs and says, "Well, what do you think?" Jeff says, "Well we know there's gonna be a new nominee sitting beside me, because another Marcellas Brendon ain't. If it's you I'm screwed unless they decide to save me to use as a goat, because I won't campaign openly against you. But if it's anybody else, then I have to convince 4 people that it's in their best interest gamewise to keep me in the game, and the possibility of a twist this week complicates that calculation for all of you."
"Not complicated for me," says Jordan. "Either I'm the pawn or I'm voting to evict the other person." "True", say Jeff, "but there'd still be six other people doing BB calculus in their heads, and I wonder if some of this crowd can even add two and two. Dicque could, Dominic could, maybe Adam and Shelly could, but Kalia and Porsche? Unlikely."
Some time later, Jordan comes up to Cassi in the HOH room and says that Cassi should put up Dicque, as he's also a veteran. Cassi points out that Jordan is also a veteran and is even more closely aligned with Jeff. However, she claims that she will consider Dicque. Jordan leaves.
Jeff later comes up and tells Cassi that he's probably going home but he's not giving up with a fight. He apologizes for acting like a total jerk earlier on. Cassi accepts it and says that if he hadn't acted like such a jerk, she would've gone after Brendon. She's sorry things had to end this way.
Jeff urges Cassi to put up Kalia, claiming that she's just a floater. Cassi says that she can't do so thanks to the deal she made with Kalia at the previous HOH. But she hints that she might put up another floater, and Jeff suggests Shelly in sheer desperation.
Cassi tells him that she's definitely down to two choices: Jordan or Shelly. One of those two will be going up. Jeff says in private that he hopes that Cassi will put up Shelly because he thinks he can stick around against her. If she puts up Jordan, he's probably screwed.
Brendon prepares for the Veto meeting and we get all the usual commentary from the principal players. Brendon notes that if Rachel was here and beside him, he'd use the Veto on her, but she isn't, so he has to use it on himself. He doesn't want to take the chance that some might want to use Jeff as a goat.
Cassi says that she knows Brendon is going to save himself, but she has her replacement nomination ready. Jeff hopes that it's Shelly and not Jordan who is going up beside him. He has some chance against Shelly. He has little to none against Jordan and he knows it.
Brendon opens the meeting by saying with a smile, "I have an announcement to make: My name is not Marcellas." That gets chuckles even from Jeff. Then without further ado Brendon removes himself from the block, and Cassi gets up and says "I've been weighing all angles of this out since Brendon won the PoV, and there's only one choice that makes any sense given all the things that are possible. Jordan, I nominate you as the replacement nominee."
Jordan sits down beside a sad Jeff, and Brendon gets up, puts the PoV medallion in its box, closes the lid and says, "This PoV meeting is adjourned". As they all get up, we hear Jeff say in private that he's screwed. He's not going to campaign against Jordan and she's a total sweetheart. He's going home and he asked for it.
Jordan says that she's sad to be up against her boyfriend and even sadder that they won't get to be on the jury together. Cassi says that karma came back to bite Jeff. She had hoped he and Jordan would make the jury together but that's not going to be unless one of the evicted people gets to return.

Okay, Jordan is now up against Jeff. It's time for you to vote on which one will go home -- Jeff or Jordan. I'll take votes until tomorrow and the person with the most votes will be the next one evicted and get a chance to be voted on to return (along with fellow evictees Keith, Rachel and Lawon, of course).
