134. "RE: Big Brother 13: What If? Fina..."
As the week goes on and the arguments and fights pile up, the rest of the HG start holding some serious discussions on whether or not to throw Kalia right out or keep her alive as a finals goat. The jury house has unanimously agreed that they don't want Kalia among them till it's absolutely necessary, but they also know they don't have a vote on it. They actually discuss whether or not to oppose other HG who send her to them too soon, but never reach any conclusions. Meanwhile, Adam, Cassi and Porsche want to get her out of their lives, but are also all wary of sending her to the jury house with a week to go in the game and pi$$ing them off by inflicting her upon them. They don't reach any conclusions either, and as Tuesday arrives and a "live" eviction show is taped for broadcast Wednesday, Kalia's and Shelly's fates are very much up in the air.
The "live" show that isn't starts with the rehash of the HoH competition, the nominations, OTEV, very limited coverage of all the arguments and fights, which actually took up several hours, and as many DR's as they could shoehorn in, then a commercial break is run, then the PoV meeting and more DR's are shown. Cassi is interviewed in the HoH Room, and she says, "I don't know how much of the fighting you had time to show, but the whole house is mad at Kalia and she doesn't have a friend in here right now." What Cassi doesn't know is that during the first commercial break Adam and Porsche had snuck off to the kitchen for a very brief conversation, and they had prepared a dirty trick they were going to pull on Cassi.
Cassi goes back downstairs and Chenbot calls for the live vote. As per their commercial break conversation, Adam votes to evict Kalia and Porsche votes to evict Shelly, thus causing a tie without anybody knowing who voted which way and making Cassi look bad by breaking the tie. The look of dismay on her face is very obvious as Chenbot announces the tie, but Cassi bites the bullet and votes to evict Kalia.
Kalia takes the walk of shame with surprisingly little fanfare and complaining and a minimum of hugs. When she gets to the Chenbot, she is asked what made her think she could get away with doing so much fighting with everybody in the house. Kalia says, "At that point I didn't give a damn anymore. I didn't expect to make the final anyway unless it was as somebody's goat, and of the four people still in there at least three of them if not all four would hand me my head on a silver platter before the jury even if I wasn't such a witch. At that point I stopped giving a $hit and didn't take anything off any of them." The goodbye messages are shown, and Kalia is ripped new holes by all four of them.
Inside the house, Cassi says, "All right, you two, what's with the tie vote? I know both of you hate Kalia with a passion, what were you up to?" Adam says, "I won't say who voted for who, in case the cameras and mikes pick it up, but I'll be flat out honest with you, that was arranged." "When?" says Cassi. "During the first commercial break," says Adam. "The idea was to make you break a tie and pi$$ Kalia off at you without her knowing which of us to blame. It was a pure jury move, on the expectation that you'll make the final." "Was pi$$ing her off all week part of the plan too?" "Not all we said was, a lot of it was honest," says Adam, "but I've been thinking about this move for weeks along with Porsche." CBS has to bleep out Cassi's reply, which was very profane.
The HG are then sent to the backyard for the HoH competition. It is simple, short and sweet, and when it is over Adam wins his first and only HoH. Adam takes the HoH key from Cassi without celebrating much, and when Shelly asks why he isn't getting excited he says, "Because A. I just put Cassi on a spot with that tie move and don't want to gloat about anything right now, and B. the HoH isn't the big deal at final 4 anyway, it's the PoV. And Cassi is such a challenge machine I figure she'll probably win it." They go in to do post-HoH DR's, and the evening is dull till the HoH reveal.
