PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

After the HG go inside at the end of the PoV contest, Lawon and Shelly both crank up the lobbying in earnest. Lawon tells Cassi, "You're the PoV holder, Jeff can't put you guys up anyway, use your PoV and save us." Cassi tells him, "I don't have anything to gain by using it. Jeff can't put up any of the other vets, and if I use the veto, I'm just swapping one pair of newbies for another. What's the point in that?" Later when Shelly lobbies Cassi, she tells her the same thing. Lawon tries one more time, telling her "I really don't want to have to lobby against Shelly. Even if I'm nice about it instead of wacko, America will hate me for that." His effort is unsuccessful, and the next day when the PoV meeting is held, Cassi explains to the HG that since she has nothing to gain strategically from using the veto, she's not going to bother going through the motions of asking for speeches from the nominees, and she keeps it very short and sweet, officially announces she is not using the veto, and closes the meeting. Cassi, Lawon and Shelly all make DR statements about Cassi's non-use of the veto, none of which are particularly noteworthy, then Lawon goes to the kitchen to make himself some slop.

This thread is fun, I don't understand why more people aren't playing. When the real game was going on, I never understood why nobody ever made a real serious move to vote Rachel out. If I were in there with a Rachel, I'd bust my a$$ trying to get her out rather than have to live with somebody so obnoxious and wacko for 2 months+. My own participation in the game would be a fair thing to risk for the opportunity to preserve my sanity. I hope I never see her on my TV again.
