Here is the next part:After we once again see Jeff nominate Lawon & Shelly, we get comments from various houseguests. Shelly plans on shoring up her support with Brendon, Jordan and Kalia and getting Dicque on her side. Lawon plans on getting Dicque to his side to avoid a tie and being sent out by Jeff.
Adam is relieved that he and Porsche are safe but wonder if Jeff is planning to backdoor them or Cassi & Dominic. Jordan hopes that Adam & Porsche get to play for the POV; if Cassi & Dominic do, her & Jeff's plans are in trouble.
Cassi tells Dominic that she's sure Jeff is really planning to backdoor them and that they need to get picked for the later POV competition and win in order to avoid being backdoored. Dominic is shocked to hear what Cassi suspects but he agrees that they can't rest easy now.
Shelly is the first to approach Dicque, throwing herself at his mercy and promising on her daughter's safety to do anything he asks. He urges her not to promise on her daughter and she agrees. Then Dicque tells her that he's not sure yet who he'll vote for, but he'll let her know.
Lawon is the next to approach Dicque; unfortunately, his plea is so unintelligible that Dicque tells Lawon to come back as soon as he gets some English lessons. Lawon interprets this as racism and when he accuses Dicque of being a racist, Dicque tells him that he doesn't care, calls him an idiot and leaves.
We then see Lawon try to approach Kalia on the basis that they are both black and should support each other but Kalia isn't willing to stick her neck out for him. Lawon accuses her of being a race traitor and Kalia leaves, venting her anger at him in the Diary Room later.
Lawon isn't only getting on Dicque and Kalia's nerves, however, as we see others complaining. Jordan calls Lawon loony while Brendon describes him as a total nutjob. Even Adam says that Lawon is trying too hard and Cassi thinks he's becoming a loony nutjob and thus making it hard to support him.
Apparently things are tense enough that just after the sun sets Lawon is called into the Diary Room and told by production to cool it. Unfortunately, Lawon flips out, calling Kalia a race traitor and the others as racists and leaving the DR in a huff after being told to shut up and play the game.
Some time later, we see Lawon called back in. We then learn that he had complained so much about production to anybody within earshot (who can't get away) that BB decided to slap him with a Have-Not penalty which will last until the next live eviction! Lawon is silenced at last and leaves, crestfallen.
The hamsters are called to the living room where HoH Jeff reads a statement from the producers explaining what happened with Lawon and how a have-not penalty works, and telling the HG "If you don't think we'll do it to you too, go ahead, make our day." Porsche notes that she won't be as dumb as Lawon.
The next morning, Dominic and Porsche are playfully flirting by having a pillow fight. They then go into the workroom and Porsche continues flirting with Dominic as he works out. Jeff notices and this raises further red flags with him.
It's time to pick players for the POV competition. A third pair will join Jeff & Jordan and Lawon & Shelly. Unfortunately for Jeff & Jordan, that third couple is Cassi & Dominic! Cassi notes Jeff's shock and her suspicions are confirmed. Kalia is chosen to be the host.
As soon as Lawon hears that Cassi & Dominic are playing, he begins cursing up a storm. After the meeting, Jeff joins in the cursing, claiming that Cassi & Dominic might ruin all his plans to backdoor them and get rid of Dominic.
Lawon then asks, "So you really intended to get rid of Dominic all along?" Jeff confirms it. Lawon notes that Jeff's going to have to win the POV competition, as Lawon doubts that either he or Shelly can win it. Jeff says that he's going to win it.
Jordan comes in and says that all hope isn't lost. Jeff could win the competition, take Lawon & Shelly off the block and thus backdoor Cassi & Dominic. Jeff says that is Lawon's only hope; if Cassi or Dominic fail, Lawon is doomed. Lawon leaves, upset.
Meanwhile Adam, Dicque and Porsche are all encouraging Cassi & Dominic to win the POV. They have all been informed of Cassi's suspicions that Jeff & Jordan are planning to backdoor her and Dominic. The pair reassures the others that they'll try their hardest to win.
Meanwhile, Jeff & Jordan are reassuring Shelly that even if by some miracle Cassi or Dominic wins the Veto, she will be safe. Shelly agrees, noting that Lawon is annoying some of his own allies and that Dicque had promised that he'd vote to keep her since she isn't a loony nutjob.
With that, it’s time for the POV competition. Kalia comes out in a bathrobe and bikini. She hands the participants one of six colored rubber ducks (to match the color of the t-shirt and bandana they will wear in the challenge), and accordingly everyone heads outside.
The back yard has been transformed into a giant bubble bath, featuring the ugliest woman you’ve ever seen, with giant hairy legs (Lawon has a conniption fit just looking at her). When Jordan sees the hairy legs, she merely comments that she has to shave her legs almost daily to appease Jeff, who confirms his distaste for female hair moments later.
The competition is a rehash of previous challenges for the past two seasons. It is a “spell-the-longest-word” competition. Each hair on the gross woman’s legs has a letter on it. They must run into the pool/tub, pluck a hair, bring it back, and arrange the letters on pegs at their station (there’s a flap to hide the words they’re forming), hoping to correctly spell the longest word possible. When they think they have a winner, they buzz in and lock in their answer. Longest word, spelled correctly, wins. In the event of a tie, the one who buzzed in quicker wins.
Jeff reminds us how he infamously flubbed the very first POV competition in his season by not only trying to spell a word that didn't exist (technotronics), but misspelling it to boot! Not only did he look silly, he got into a fight with Russell, his then-teammate in the Athletes clique (who won with "shotgun). Needless to say, Jeff is seeking redemption.
And they’re off! As soon as the competition begins, strategically placed hoses spray the contestants with suds and water. Jordan runs towards the bubbles because she wants to play in them, while Shelly accidentally inhales some and has a temporary coughing fit. Jeff and Dominic playfully smack each other with the “hairs” (really just pool noodles cut in half and hollowed out).
Cassi decides to try the technique Brendon used when he won the competition last year, finding a long word then adding "ing" or "ly" to make it longer. Dominic is also really trying to find long words, since he knows he can't afford to throw the POV competition.
With under five minutes to go, the players assess what letters they have and what letters they need. Jordan has enough to spell “farting,” which a lot of the players do to excess in the house, but she’s embarrassed to spell it. Dominic is aiming for “procrastination,” which could win him the competition, but he needs a “p.” Unfortunately, he can’t find one, leading to many jokes about how there is no “p” in the pool.
Lawon also tries Cassi's strategy of adding "ing" to his word, so he starts planning out “moisturizing.” Meanwhile Jeff, having procured an “x,” wants to do something along the lines of “express.” Shelly is throwing the competition since she's sure she's safe even if she stays on the block.
All too soon, the clock ticks down, the players lock in their answers, and the competition is over. Shelly is up first and she spells "little." It’s spelled correctly, and good for six points. Shelly is pleased with the results.
Jordan reveals her word, "standings", which earns her nine points and the lead. Lawon is up next and while he did try to spell the word "moisturizing," he added an extra "u". As a result, he is wrong and he is visibly upset.
Dominic didn’t get to spell “procrastination” because he never found a “p.” Instead, he gets “fractions,” which is also nine letters. Since he buzzed in before Jordan, he takes the lead. Unfortunately for him, he quickly loses the lead to Jeff, who spelled “expresses.” It’s also nine letters, but Jeff was in first, so the lead is his. More importantly, he’s exorcised the demons of “technotronics” by spelling an actual word.
Finally, we have Cassi -- and much to Brendon's shock and Jeff's visible dismay, she has spelled "understanding":
Kalia: Cassi wins the Power of Veto!
Cassi smiles happily as she puts the medallion around her neck. Dominic cheers and hugs her as Jeff walks into the house. He passes Lawon, who says sarcastically, "Best laid plans, eh, Jeffo?" Jeff just shakes his head in dismay.

Okay, I plan on having Cassi choose not to use the Veto to save herself, so I want you just to comment on how things are going so far before I post the next installment.
