158. "RE: Big Brother 13: What If?"
I'm here, and as promised, here are the comments on why all but Cassi lost, starting with the pre-jury members:
Keith -- to his credit, he schemed and plotted, becoming part of the initial Regulators alliance along with Dominic, Lawon and Porsche. He also was part of the overall newbies alliance with Cassi and Adam (sometimes) added in. However, he failed to keep his opposition to the veterans secret and he played too hard too soon, especially when it came to his flirting with other women. These made him a threat and although he played nice to some degree, his efforts to flirt hurt any efforts he might have made to act like an adult. It didn't help him any that Kalia was willing to sell him out on a silver platter.
Rachel -- do you have to ask? She (and Brendon to some degree) tended to rely more on challenge strength than on scheming and plotting. She was openly on the other side of the soon-to-be dominant alliance, was inflexible and was a real threat to win challenges to boot. But what got her sent home before Brendon was her failure to control her emotions and her total failure in pretending to be nice or acting like an adult.
Lawon -- he plotted and schemed enough to be in the Regulators alliance but he wasn't one of the major plotters amongst the newbies. Also he was openly aligned with the newbies. But the biggest reason was that Jeff failed to choose a better pair to be the pawns in his strategy to get rid of Dominic since Lawon and Shelly were bad at challenges.
Brendon -- he was better at plotting and scheming than Rachel but that wasn't saying much. Like Rachel he was openly on the veterans' side, was pretty much inflexible and was an even bigger challenge threat. But what killed him was his giving up after Rachel left, thus in a sense failing to control his own emotions and rally from a loss.
The comments on why five of the seven jurors lost will be up tomorrow, and then I'll conclude with the last two jurors, with the runner-up and with the winner. Of course, in the real game (the voting one), the real reason why Rachel lost was just because I couldn't stand her and wanted her gone!
