As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
The thing about Dan is, I just don't think he's going to get back together with Mike. Dan runs on emotions, and loyalty is of the highest importance to him—recall that oddly impassioned growl of support offered to Will during their benighted cuddle at the opening of this past episode—and it's my opinion that Mike's actions at the auction forfeited him Dan's support permanently. In the exit interviews with Tyler, the latter has alluded to the fact that he's uncertain if Mike and Dan have healed their relationship, which leads me to believe a reconciliation is not in the books during the final stretch. Perhaps Mike does manage to bring Dan on board for a vote and then betrays him? In any event, I see no realistic opening for Mike with Rodney and Will, and I remain doubtful about Postal Maine—and so Carolyn and Sierra would seem to be Mike's sole potential allies moving forward, or at least in the next episode. And even with them, I believe Mike's still going to need to win final immunity and at least one of the other two along the way...
