As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
>How about this, instead. Rupert >confronts Jon, and Jon admits >it, but realizes his folly, >so he allies with Rupert. > At the next TC, >someone else votes for Rupert, >but puts the little Johnny >Fairplay symbol on his vote. > When the vote is >read, everyone on the planet >thinks that Jon voted for >Rupert, and it causes Rupert >to do something stupid getting >himself kicked off. (This would >fit the criteria, because Jeff >wouldn't know about the lie >until he watched the TC >Confessional)
That might work if the tribe knew it was Johnny Fairplay that writes stuff on the cards, which I don't believe that they do. Second of all, in three TC's, Johnny's card has only been shown one time, the last episode when he voted for Rupe. The other two TC's his vote was left in the cannister as unread, so nobody on his tribe saw the VT (on Michelle's) or the 4:20 stuff he wrote on Burt's card either.
It would be a long stretch to think that any of them in the tribe would pick up the little bit of extra writing on the lower left corner of Rupert's card and realize that Johnny Fairplay does this on each of his votes.
Besides, if someone did put writing on the next vote trying to set Jon up, and Johnny Fairplay does also (because why would he change now), then all it would do is make 2 cards with writing on them. It would produce an argument from them at best.
Thats my take on that theory, sorry.
Besides which, from hearing the radio interview and reading the transcripts it sounds to me like the "big lie" is just the biggest lie told on survivor ever, and that it really isn't game related. It also sounds like it is separate and remote from the "big regret" which is supposed to happen this week.
