PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
As for Jeff's quote regarding "regreting it for a very long time". That could be the duration of the show and that this person gave up their chance at big money.
I agree it's probably about the money, and nothing more than that. I just can't see what else about "Survivor" someone would regret for a very long time, other than that they might have won but instead screwed themselves over willingly.
The simplest explanation for the regret to me would be that Osten tells everyone he want to quit, again, so this time they do vote him out. Then Morgan goes on to dominate the game after the merge, getting to the finals. Osten could have been in the F4, maybe even won, but he just didn't have the concentration or willpower to hang in there.
