LAST EDITED ON 10-28-03 AT 01:45 PM (EST)New from Ellen:
And there's a guy that does something. You know, this is a show about human nature and about how you react in stressful situations.
And there's a guy this week that, that ... something happens to that i think they're going to regret for a long, long time.
you're seeing real people make decisions that, that may, that may haunt them for a while.
New from radio show today from Jeff:
Osten: Osten has an interesting next 3 days. The next episode is pretty interesting for Osten. But the next episode is HUGE. So much happens. You either going to love it or say OMG.
Lie: the lie hasn't happened. You would not have any idea about the lie but he wouldn't answer whether we already had hints or evidence of it happening yet. It will not change the complexion of the game... it's just the greatest lie ever told on Survivor.
Jon: Jon is the guy to watch. He's snaky
Regret: And there is an incident ...an event that one Survivor is going to regret for a long time and that is very close to happening.
I'm reading these two ways that Guy A does/react and as a result they are going to regret it AND either Guy A makes a decision as a result which is a really bad decision OR due to Guy A's does/react a person B makes a decision and that ends up haunting them for awhile ( A castaway makes a monumenta decision)
Old stuff that specifically mentions lie AND regret
JP:... "there are alot of things that play out. There is one of the greatest lies ever. It is a fantastic horrible lie."
" From a contestant..ya. And there is a HUGE regret, that somebody does that is impactful..."
JP said the "greatest lie ever told" was on this season he also said there was "some regret." But emphasized regret. Elliot asked about the Ghandia-Ted incident and JP said this "regret" tops even that because with the Ghandia-Ted thing, you could at least play it off as happening in your sleep.
A "very, very regrettable event happens," Probst says. "And I think the person to whom it happens is going to regret it, and I think they're going to regret it more than they have any idea (they will) right now. I couldn't believe it when it happened, and I can't wait for it to play out."
After reviewing the intermingling lie/regret interviews, I can't really establish if they ARE related. From the blurbs of Jeff, there is a possiblity that there is a relation BUT in the blurbs that Jeff does interrelate them, they came from INTERVIEWS that people TRANSCRIBED and from the latest interview, it sounds like the REGRET happens now, LIE not now and mention made again of snaky Jon.
Add this: One castaway makes a monumental decision b/c this could be the ACTION that leads to regret.
Personally I think Guy A (as a result of feeling cornered, stressed, or something to that effect) REACTS (gut reaction to feeling stressed/cornered, human nature to do this) and due to this, a monumental decision (kick him out?) which Guy A is going to end up regretting unbelievably. OR
Guy A reacts/acts and due to this, a monumental decision is made due to this which Guy A will regret BUT is ALSO going to haunt him/them for a long time. Osten is also having an interesting three days and I'm not sure whether this is related OR a different event nor sounds like he is going HOWEVER For some reason I do feel this quitting nonsense is going to finally reach a pinnacle and will the ultimate decision end up being one that is regretted? Somehow I feel this involved Andrew and Osten still and either ANDREW is going to regret something for a long time (perhaps he does FINALLY try to engineer Osten's boot and he ends up getting booted?) OR someone else gets booted
And I thought I was done with this nonsense
