Well, we suspected that the boot would be one of the big boys, and sure enough, it was! This week I have to start out by saying, HELLO Cydney! She has the top spot with the confessionals this week, and it's all about her thinking about her own game, who to trust, who has to go, and who will get her further. Take a look at her, she's a beast. We saw that she will be very hard to beat in challenges, as the only one that beat her is Tai. I have to wonder if Tai will get to the end going on a serious challenge roll. She makes the decision to get rid of one of the boys that irritates her, and makes her case to the ladies. If it doesn't work out, Oh well, I'll be the first person in the game to make a move!

Jason had 3 confessionals....first about his confidence in how the vote will go, definitely a brain, they have the numbers 7 - 3, then about his daughter and his game, and finally about Cydney freaking out over the "all girls alliance", and everyone's going to get paranoid just didn't think it would be this soon.

Since we were shown a softer side to Jason, I think his story is just about done. He's been questionable, now he was softened and next week we see the big boys hide the tools...His arc is underway...but he does still have an idol.

Michele drops down to 2 confessionals, the first one talks negatively about Jason, and the next talks about her situation with Nick, he's in her alliance and she could work with him a little longer. I have to say that I was disappointed that Nick's boot didn't come at her suggestion. I thought there was some build up for that. It was easy to see that she would turn on him down the road. If she were the winner, I think we would need to see her make more of a move than this, even the promos suggested that it was going to be her move. It wasn't, it was Cydney's move.

Debbie: She had a quiet episode with 2 confessionals. Even though she is out of the action, she is still get some confessionals which supports her as a solid character of the season. Her first confessional was about the ice cream reward and she didn't feel the least bit sorry for the others, and the second one was about low and behold, Cydney came to us and wants Nick, she hoped for Jason or Scot, but the early bird catches the worm! Additionally, Debbie is always seen being compassionate and kind to her fellow survivors. Like when they returned to camp after the challenge she congratulated Tai and Cydney, and said, and now I'm going to make you dinner! She is very kind and supportive, and I see it.

Aubry dropped from 8 to 2 confessionals. First she can sense where this is going after Neal is gone, the pretty people and the jocks aren't going to sit pretty forever....and, then a tearful Aubry cries about one bad decision after the next, but she's not giving up. Aubry still is getting the underdog, we should root for her, edit. I have to wonder, is she the winner or is she the "Spencer" of this season, as someone in the editing thread posed! I have confidence that she will be around for a while either way!

Tai dropped from 2 to 1. His confessional was about they were splitting the votes and that was a hard challenge but he earned it. Tai certainly also had a big presence at TC when he talked about the super idol, while Scot and Jason put their heads in their hands! But, Tai beat the strong Cydney....I get the feeling Tai could go home with his idol in his pocket because he will win challenges!

Scot drops down to 1 confessional, not a good sign following 5 confessionals last week. Scot's confessional was after the ice-cream reward, and was just narrational. But, he did have a strong presence...."Previously, On survivor", and "Survivor is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get"...he also appeared very confident at TC...

Joe had one confessional, which is consistent for him and Julia had one as well, she likes Scot and likes having him on her team. Not a good sign when it now looks like the boys are going down, and Julia is getting noticed by the others as playing the middle. Julia dropped off the radar last week and comes back with one. Consistent for her edit as well.

Well, unfortunately it looks like the writing is on the wall for this season. It's now 5 girls + Joe vs. Jason, Scot, + Tai. Tai also doesn't like Jason, he voted for him last week and we saw him hanging in the canoe with the girls, he also kissed and hugged Cydney. I think Tai will see the sinking ship for what it is. I think Cydney's arc is underway. She should be okay until the big boys go.

This week I think that Julia is misdirection, but she's being set up for a boot that's soon to come.
