Thanks for your thoughts, Michel. I always respect your opinions and consider your assessments spot on. Your editing thread is always amazing, and this season I haven't been able to keep up as much as I would like to. I promise to do better next season! I really get so much insight to it all when I follow along closely. Frankly, I will be thoroughly shocked if Michele wins. Last season, I felt that Spencer got a stellar edit, but I could certainly make a valid case for Jeremy as well. Spencer ended up being the decoy, the one that had us doubting Jeremy's win. This season, however, there is no case for Michele, unless it does end up being an F3, and Cydney and Aubry lose votes to each other and Michele reaps the benefits.
Granted, she was nice and she got along. But, she was a secondary player that hid behind stronger ones, Nick, Julia, Cydney. In Natalie's season, she won because everyone hated Russell so much, but Cydney and Aubry are not hated characters. If she wins it will feel SOAH RONG! Ha!
But, I also agree, she does have more confessionals than her story warrants which is disconcerting.
Idk, I still think Aubry can pull it out! I haven't paid any attention to what the "others" are thinking!
I totally agree with your thoughts on Tai and on the "journey" player. It's true, the journey player used to be on a quest of some sort that really didn't involve winning the million.
Tai's journey involved "trying" to be something that he was not and then coming to terms with just being who he is....Tai felt emotional pain when he tried to play with his brain, and was so relieved when Aubry appealed to him to stick with her. He insists on not changing and continuing to play with his heart, he's being true to himself. While it won't win him a million dollars, it will make him the hero of his own story! <3
