LAST EDITED ON 05-21-12 AT 07:29 PM (EST)Thirty days jail time.
Three years probation.
Three hundred hours community service.
Must go through tolerance and anti-cyberbullying classes.
$10,000 to be paid to a state-recognized organization which aids victims of bias crimes (plus $1905 in mandatory court fees).
Both prosecution and defense are pissed: the second because there's any jail time and the first because there wasn't, in their opinion, enough.
Appeal planned.
ETA: I have to clarify here -- both sides are appealing. As the judge said, he disenchanted everyone.
