Georganna, I wouldn't call it "cynical" per se, but I agree Tasha's just trying to ensure herself an F3 spot and eliminate the guys' easy options. There's also a bit of sanctimoniousness thrown in for good measure. But I can't even fault Tasha too much for that, because I think most fans are tired of goats being dragged until the end (such as Rob with Phillip and that young girl), and I for one would be thrilled to see an epic F3 such as J/K/S or J/T/S and no goats at the end. Jeremy and Spencer probably said more in that scene, so the most telling thing to me is that the edit allowed Tasha to be portrayed negatively vs. Jeremy and Spencer were somewhat protected.
I originally thought Tasha was stupid to tell Jeremy and Spencer about the women's alliance, but now that we see it was all just a ruse (in Tasha's eyes), I think it was a good play on her part. It's allowed her to sufficiently scare J/S to vote her way the last 2 TCs. So kudos to her. That's why Stephen gave her a Fishy and Redmond/Insider Survivor named her player of the week. (Going with the women's alliance was probably her best end game move, but I understand why she's sticking with J/S.)
Return players tend to overcompensate for their mistakes or downfalls the first time around. So I can see how to Tasha and Spencer having a non-rational wild card like Abi possibly decide their fate at F5 or F4 is very scary, after what happened to them with Kass in their first season.
