You have got to read "the Last Recruit" recap on the Doc Arzt Blog by Fish Biscuit. I found his comments and observations quite astute. And, I agree with all of it.

I LOVED how he pointed out the symmetry between Sawyer and Kate. I love their chemisty, I have always wanted these two to end up together. I feel that it's almost like a confession here for me, as so many are Sawyer and Juliet lovers. But, for me, I never trusted Juliet. Therefore, I don't like her, and I never wanted her to have Jack or Sawyer. I still don't. Sawyer was so stifled in a life with Juliet, and he was NOT true to himself. For me, he belongs with Kate, as she gets him, she's always gotten him. I have renewed hope, after reading Doc Arzt, that maybe these two could be intertwined forever.

It's also always been about the characters for me, as Doc Arzt points out, that it's what has driven the writers as well. I think that they have done a phenomenal job with their character development, and that's why we are all so invested in them. I have great hope that this ending will be worthy of the journey.
