"Alicia and Christina would have voted against their allies when there were still opponents around." Well this statement is the main reason why we differ on when Alicia should have made her move...and it comes down to how we each regard "alliance" or "allies." I do agree players voting against their ALLIES when other players are still in a game is ill advised. But now the question begs to be asked...What's your definition of an "alliance" as it pertains to the game of Survivor. I'll give you MY answer.
At this stage of the game the only "allies" I'd consider an alliance for me is one that promises me a F4. If an established F4 is promising me a 5th or 6th place finish at best and I flip and vote against them to put me in a more realisitic F4 position which utimately lands me in the Finals you really think I'd be "roasted mercilessly???"
Well if I am, my honest and calm response to them would be, "Heck, if you promised me a spot in the F4, I would NOT have flipped and I would have given you my undivided loyalty and allegiance right up to the F4."
Now if you truly believe Kim made a F4 pact with Alicia and Christina then I understand and agree with your logic. Obviously I don't believe any pact was made with Alicia and Christina. I believe the F4 is Kim, Chelsea, Kat and Sabrina...therefore I stand by my claim that this is the episode Alicia and Christina should have made their move.
