1. Being unable to board my flight due to the pilot smelling jet fuel when he landed the plane in Fresno.
2. Waiting a half-hour for the local mechanic to check out the plane.
3. Finding out the repairs required a crew to be flown in from San Francisco.
4. Being sent back to the ticket counter to stand in line with the other hundred passengers on the canceled flight.
5. Seeing only one ticket agent behind the counter.
6. Calling our corporate travel agent and finding out there were no more useful flights out today.
7. Calling the airline directly and being put on hold for a long time while the agent tried to rebook me.
8. Being rebooked on a less-preferred airline tomorrow morning and gaining a second connection to get home.
9. Getting no compensation from the airline other than a free hotel room.
10. Finding out that there are many events in Fresno today, meaning all hotels near the airport were full.
11. Being sent to a faraway downtown hotel.
12. Dodging homeless people while crossing the street to a tacqueria which had good reviews on Yelp.
13. Having a lousy meal at the tacqueria.
14. Dodging different homeless people while crossing the street to get back to the hotel.

Things I won't like tomorrow:

1. Wearing today's clothes. Again. (At least I have toiletries.)
2. The 4:30 am cab ride to the airport, since it's too early for the hotel shuttle to be operating.
3. The plane changes in both Denver and Chicago.
4. Flying an airline which falls somewhere between detested and loathed on my opinion scale.
5. Losing a day of my life due to airline malfeasance.
