Man, we've been agreeing too much lately! LOL!I'd like to smack that little snot Taylor. And then I want to double smack her parents. They have created a total monster. And the sad thing is that she obviously has some qualities that, given the right direction and supervision, would make her an amazing kid. But her sense of entitlement is disgusting and could only have been due to parenting. Actually, bad parenting. When my six-year-old niece (who calls me after the show every Wednesday because she gets so excited over it and is allowed up past bedtime to watch) is perceptive enough to see that, it's got to be bad. She told me last night that she thinks Taylor's parents didn't teach her much about getting along with others.
As for DK, he's just awesome. His family has done a wonderful job. I was pretty much a blubbering fool at the end. I have to say that I never thought a reality show could move me like that.
"I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever, in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else, where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent. If I could not go to heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all." - Thomas Jefferson
