>>The show was a debacle. First Lisa comes right out and says >that she don't care who the people pick - she picks Hank so >the voting was going to go for Hank no matter what. Yes, I have to agree with you there. I guess this post will be lost in the shuffle by now, but I can't help saying that I agree, when Lisa said that, it was done. It screwed up the show premise.
>They pulled the wool over all of our eyes and we are the >suckers for watching this crap.
This is also true, IMHO. Now that I think the whole thing over, I have to believe that it was sort of about prostituting Lisa on TV, except that at the end it fizzles out. To me, the whole thing boiled down to a great big "put on" and we were gullible.
>Someone mentioned that McFayden was out of line saying that >comment about you knew what you signed up for. Come on! It was >true.
I concur. It was repeatedly brought up, that this is what the purpose and point of the show was all about. All the static about how "certain people including Hank, didn't really audition and were sought out", well, that still doesn't cancel out the fact that the show's premise was clearly stated to them.
> really think it was Hank's excuse for not getting married - >he had cold feet. The girls knocked Dominic for not being >ready (at 22) - Hank is only 25 and was no darn different than >Dominic.
You got that right!!
>And when I think of it did it really matter who won this >thing? If Robert won, it would be the same darn outcome. So >why did I watch?
Exactly. And I don't think she and Hank will be together, anymore than she and Robert would have. We were foolish to think any differently.
>...another season... It will never happen because there are >too many loop holes in the concept. I would never put myself >thru watching this again. Hank and Lisa just put a nail in the >Cupid coffin.
It think so too. And I think I was silly when I started watching and actually thought someone would end up falling in love and getting married. To me it was all an act.
>I am extremely disappointed in this show and if you buy the >lame excuse by Hank to not get married I will sell you some >swamp land that I own.
Right on.
>Hank and Lisa what did you sign up for?????
I don't know...exposure, maybe? I really can't see them together, they didn't seem that sincere and real about being attracted to each other, and it seems like a lot of what we saw was them kind of doing what they thought they were supposed to, as opposed to being natural.
Never again.
