Okay, here are the results:The new Gota members arrive back at camp after Tribal Council and then we see Eddie do a confessional. In it, he reveals that he suspected during Tribal Council that the Faves were going to vote Laura out even if he didn't vote with them, so he decided to be loyal to the Fans for the time being. He also hoped to reunite with Hope after the merge -- if they both made it that far.
He then joins the other Fans in discussing what went wrong. When asked if anybody had a clue that Malcolm had a Hidden Immunity Idol, Eddie had to admit that he had been informed about it just before they headed out to Tribal Council. When asked why he never told the other Fans, he said (accurately) that he didn't have the time to tell them and urge them to put the target on Dawn. (He also mentions that right after he learned about the HII, he had to do a confessional and then make the trip to T.C., but this isn't shown on T.V.)
In a confessional, Julia says that she's willing to accept Eddie's explanation since he could have taken the opportunity to jump ship but instead remained loyal. Matt is also willing to accept Eddie's excuse but now thinks that they have to hope that the Fans on Bikal will remain loyal as well. If they don't, the Fans are doomed.
Andrea, Dawn and Malcolm are all celebrating but they know they have to go looking for another HII, if only to prevent the Fans on Gota from getting it. But they still have hope that they can reel in Eddie, thanks to his interest in Andrea.
On day 17 at Bikal, Brenda reads a tree mail to the group, “The strong must bear the weak, if you hope to compete. The taste of victory today will be oh so sweet.” Cochran tries to analyze the tree mail. He wonders if the competition will depend upon the weak people or the strong.
Bikal discusses it together and ultimately decides that it will depend more upon the strength factor than on the weakness one. Thus they decide to sit out Sherri, who is the weakest person on Bikal. Sherri's not too happy but she sees the wisdom of the idea, so she agrees to it.
Meanwhile, Corinne tells Reynold that Malcolm has a Hidden Immunity Idol and that if he flips over to the side of the Faves, they can use both HIIs to take control of the game. Reynold says, "Give me one reason why I should jump ship and join you guys."
Corinne says, "You can be part of our Final 4. Brenda, Cochran and us. Join us, and you're Final 4 and quite possibly Final 3 as Brenda and Cochran are willing to dump each other at Final 4."
We then see Reynold do a confessional in which he says that the option is tempting, especially if he can get rid of Sherri first as part of joining the Faves on Bikal. Brenda does a confessional in which she expresses her hope that Reynold will flip. If not, they're done for.
We then fly to the Reward Challenge. Jeff Probst has Bikal enter and once they're all on the mat:
Probst: Gota, come on in! (Gota enters.) Bikal getting their first look at the new Gota. Laura bounced out at the last Tribal Council.
The Fans on Bikal are shocked -- except for Reynold, who looks at Malcolm. Brenda, Cochran and Corinne look worried, as they're pretty sure Malcolm used his Hidden Immunity Idol to bounce out Laura.
Probst tells the tribes they will be wearing a belt looped through a rope and will be joined together as a tribe. Each member will be carrying a 20 pound sandbag.
The tribes will start at opposite sides of an oval course in the water and will race around the course trying to catch the other tribe. If someone gets tired, they can opt out and give their weight to someone else.
The first tribe to catch the other tribe wins reward. Probst asks the tribes “Want to know what you’re playing for?” Of course they all say yes.
The winning tribe will be taken to another island where they will have coffee, cookies, croissants and brownies. When asked to sit someone out, Bikal says they already chose to sit out Sherri.
Both tribes strategize before starting the challenge. Malcolm tells the Gotas they want to stay even for the first lap or so and then start gaining on the Bikal tribe.
Reynold volunteers to go first, then asks who has the most endurance to keep up with him. Brenda and Corinne go next, followed by Hope, Cochran and finally Matt.
Both Bikal and Gota begin with a fast walk. After the first lap, each tribe begins trying to gain on each other. At first it's even, but then Hope begins tiring. This causes Gota to begin gaining on Bikal. Hope then stumbles badly and admits that she's incredibly tired. She opts out and gives her weight to Reynold.
Bikal now tries to run but this wears out Cochran and Matt, who drop out and give their weights to Corinne and Brenda. At the back of Gota, Julia drops out and Malcolm picks up her weight. Now Gota begins running and although Reynold, Corinne and Brenda try to stay ahead, Corinne falls and:
Probst: Gota wins Reward! (Gota celebrates.) Gota, your trip to the other island -- and your reward -- are waiting for you. Bikal, I have nothing for you. Head back to camp and I'll see you at the Immunity Challenge.
As Gota heads out, Sherri tries to put a good face on things by saying that Gota will get sick and have diarrhea from all the coffee and sweets so the reward is not such a big deal. She also is glad they sat her out.
****************************************************************************************
Okay, Gota won Reward. Now I want you to decide which tribe -- Bikal or Gota -- wins Immunity. The tribe with the most votes will avoid a date with Jeff Probst at Tribal Council. I'll take votes until tomorrow, so please vote!
