Okay, it's a brand-new day and there's only one vote, so here are the results:During the after-party, Julia points out the obvious. Two Fans are gone, one jumped ship, and the others are in grave danger. Even if one of them wins Immunity, the others are dead meat!
Brenda notes that things are going well so far. She wants to get rid of one more Fan before turning on either Cochran or Malcolm. Malcolm is a challenge threat while Cochran is a strategic one!
Reynold says that he's sitting pretty. If all goes according to plan, he'll face the jury and he thinks he can still win by pointing out that he was the only Fan left. It might get some votes from the Fans on the jury -- except for Michael.
The next morning, several people are discussing how poorly they slept last night and how tired they are this morning. Cochran now speaks to us, pointing out that as the ultimate fan of Survivor, he's always on the alert for shifts in the wind.
Cochran also reveals just how debilitated the tribe has become physically. He tells us they are hungry. The camera guy reinforces that with shots of shrunken bellies. He adds that spirits are low. We then see Dawn near tears.
Then we see Dawn actually weeping. Brenda goes over to check on her. Dawn takes some water from Brenda and then tries to compose herself. She notes that she's wearing down emotionally.
Malcolm notes that everyone has lost a huge amount of weight -- including himself -- and that they all have to keep drinking lots of water. He's not sure if it's worse for the big, strong guys or for the weaker girls.
Cochran and Dawn come in with “guys, we have some tree mail.” There is a fair amount of cheering, which increases when envelopes are given out. Cochran knows what this means -- it's food auction time!
The little “clue” is cute. It just says “Cash. Do you really need a poem?” Julia doesn't. She also knows that the food auction is near -- and she also knows that there's going to be some advantage. She plans to hold out for an Immunity advantage.
We fly over the rainforest to the pier along the lagoon/river. There is Jeff Probst with his standard “come on in guys.” He has his gavel. Each person has $500 and can bid in $20 increments. They can't share money or food.
The auction will end without any warning. Only Cochran and Julia aren't grinning or chewing on their money. The first bid is a single bottle of beer and a modest bowl of peanuts. He’s in the process of asking for $20.
And just as Probst finishes setting the stuff on the table, Malcolm jumps up to bid! No one else is willing to bid, so Malcolm gets the reward. Malcolm also gets two more beers, a bucket of ice and even more nuts!
Malcolm wonders if he just shot himself in the foot for a beer (or three) and some nuts, but then decides that he's hungry enough that he doesn't care. He hauls his booty back and begins chowing down on the nuts.
The next item is covered. Andrea, Dawn, Hope and Matt all bid. Dawn almost got it for $160. But as Probst is bringing down the hammer, Reynold jumps in with $180. Dawn won't go any further, so it's sold.
But wait. Before Probst reveals what Reynold has purchased for $180, he brings out a second covered item. Reynold may trade blind. OR –- Probst brings out a third covered item which is available as an alternative.
Cochran makes a comment to Reynold about the Monte Hall twist. You are always supposed to switch. Reynold says “I don’t trust you, Cochran.” So, Reynold sticks with the initial purchase. He says it’s his gut telling him to.
Option #3 was a raw coconut, so that's the good news. The not-so-good news is that Option #2 was the rest of the pizza! He says that either the rest of the pizza can go to the whole tribe or someone can bid on it.
Immediately, Brenda bids all her money for it! And it's hers! Probst makes Brenda take one slice just to arouse jealousy, then points out that it's all her money! She notes that she doesn't really care.
The next bid is plump roasted chicken. Immediately Dawn bids all her money on it as well, so it's hers! She happily rushes down and when Probst has her take a bite, she grabs the whole chicken by one leg and chomps down on it!
The next bid is covered as well. Corinne bids all her money on it. It turns out to be spaghetti and meatballs -- and she can either have it for herself or share it with the rest of her tribe. She decides to share it with the rest of her tribe.
The next item is also covered and Hope bids $100, but Andrea bids $200. Matt bids $240 but Andrea bids $280 -- and wins! Her prize is a chocolate cake which she can either eat or trade for a bag of rice and a bag of beans. She trades it for the two bags.
The next item is some advantage. Cochran and Julia immediately jump for it! But Cochran only bids $480 and Julia bids all her money! Julia wins and it's a small sealed scroll which must stay sealed until the next Immunity Challenge.
The bidding is back on. It's also covered and Cochran gets it for $300. Unfortunately for him, it's pig brains. He doesn't mind, however, and chomps on it. Brenda is openly relieved she went for the pizza!
Next, it's the letters from home. They can get them for $20. Andrea, Cochran, Hope, Malcolm and Matt bid for them because they all have money left. Dawn is upset and Brenda sympathizes. Reynold delivers the letters, which will be opened back at camp.
Another (covered) item appears. Matt bids $200 and gets a giant bowl of peanut butter -- which must be shared with the rest of the tribe! The tribe has 60 seconds to empty the bowl.
If the peanut butter is in the mouth, on the hands, smeared on the face or body, it can go back to camp. What is left in the bowl, stays with Jeff. Everyone eats as much as they can and the auction is over.

Okay, Julia won the advantage and I had Cochran get the pigs' brains while Brenda got the pizza. Next up is the Immunity Challenge. Julia has the advantage, so I want you to decide whether she wins Immunity or someone else does. The person with the most votes will win Immunity. I'll take votes until tomorrow at the latest, so please vote!
