As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
Back at camp Andrea and Brenda get together and discuss voting strategy. They realize that despite losing today, Hope and Julia are their own biggest challenge competition, they should try to dump one of them. As long as they have Corinne, Malcolm and Reynold around to counter Matt, they don't have to worry about him just yet.
Meanwhile, Malcolm and Reynold have come to the easy decision that it is Matt's turn to go and have spoken to Corinne and Dawn, who say they will let them know after they find out where the others stand. When the four women get together Andrea explains it has to be Hope or Julia but they couldn't decide. Corinne says the four of them should be a women's alliance from now on, they just can't let the guys know. This troubles Dawn, she doesn't know if they can let it get down to the four of them having to beat Malcolm and Reynold. Corinne says they won't let it get to that, decides Julia has to go. Julia is the smarter player and is better in challenges.
Hope, Julia and Matt meanwhile have gotten together to talk strategy knowing their chances aren't good. They have decided to target Dawn and make it clear to everyone they are gunning for Dawn, do everything they can all the rest of the afternoon to push Dawn over the edge so that she will be an emotional basket case by the time they get to Tribal. Matt cautions they can't be seen to be mean about it, they think Dawn just can't handle the game and would be better off personally on the jury away from the stress of the game.
Their plan succeeds, by the time they get to TC Dawn is at the breaking point, and even says she's having a hard time even knowing what to say anymore. Corinne pays attention and jumps in from time to time while Dawn is talking, cuts her off. Malcolm says the game just gets harder and harder. Everyone really cares about one another at this point, it's like they've gotten to a point of do they vote out family or friend? Hope injects that sometimes you have to have tough love and do the tough thing because "well, it's no secret we're voting for Dawn because the game is breaking her apart, it's for her own good." Dawn says she's still in the game, she means to win it.
When the votes are counted it is 3 for Dawn, 6 for Julia.
