LAST EDITED ON 08-12-11 AT 06:46 PM (EST)Don't want to derail this too much with strategy talk, but it seems like this week will be a second chance for Dani to fix some of her problems. And if she plays it just right with the nominees, she might be able to get something going.
Since there's still 9 houseguests left, we're looking at 6 votes for eviction (with Dani as tie-breaker). What she needs to do is figure out some nomination that will definitely split the vote, so she can leverage her, Kalia, and Porsche's votes into something worthwhile. The problem with last week's noms were that Rachel already seemed to have the votes (thanks to Adam and Shelly), so Kalia/Porsche/Dani had little leverage to make a deal.
She should consider putting up Shelly/Brendon and make Jeff/Jordan choose a side... If Jeff/Jordan chooses Shelly, it might create some bad blood with Rachel. The only problem with that might be that Jeff/Jordan might choose Brendon, and then Shelly leaving doesn't give them anything. Of course, it would also depend on where Adam would vote in such a situation (he's the real wildcard). In they could get Adam to vote out Brendon, then they might win over Shelly to their side.
(Or maybe Shelly should be a replacement nom instead?)
(Or maybe Shelly/Rachel would make it easier to push Adam into keeping Shelly?)
She could also maybe just do Brendon/Jeff (or some combo of 1-per-pair) and mess with them that way. I kind of like the Shelly idea more just because a Brendon/Jeff play might just bring them closer together again.
Either way, I think Brendon needs to be the target again for Dani this week.
