Now, this may be wacky but I've been thinking more and more about how JD was the only one playing to win in the beginning. It reminds me of another show similar to this, Project Runway. It was for designers and again it was based on merit with outside judges. There was one contestant, Wendy, who was playing Survival style and the rest weren't and she ended up being the villian of the show. It strikes me as odd that in both cases that an entire group would be thinking one way except for one person. Do you think that they are coached or prepped for this? Not necessarily, them against everyone else, but maybe they are told this is how it's done and assume everyone else is being told the same thing. In the confessionals, we never hear the questions, you know, only the answers.
