Not quite. RussHell's mental stability was never in question: he stood on his own ego, and he was suited for -- well, not the game as it was designed, but at least he was suited for something. I don't think Rachel should have ever been put in the cage to begin with.More from Jokers (minor editing for probable sequence of events):
'"We are egotistical, we are ballsy, we think we are unstoppable" is what bren said to rach and tells her everyone down there was heavily offended by what she just said and tells her that she has a 50 lb weight on her shoulder because she is putting it on herself> Rachel has not said one word during this whole monolog.
Bren tells Rach that she forces everyone against them. He says he doesn't know why she does it. He wonders if --
She finally speaks..mumbles..."Brendon stop it!" as he tries to pull her over. She says she has to go get something out of the DR. He asks her to apologize to them...she says she will in a very angry way. He asks if that means she won't...R yells "Fine! I will apologize!" and leaves the HOH.
B says "oh my god..." after she leaves.
As R approaches the DR, she makes noise that sounds almost like crying, but may have been laughing....says "Haayy!" when she goes in.
She comes out and very quickly apologizes to H/K. Rachel tells Kristen and Hayden (with Kathy in the room) that she wasn't making a personal attack during the nomination ceremony and that it was strictly gameplay. She then adds "sorry if you don't believe that" before pausing. Hay says OK. She leaves. Kris whispers "Why did she do that?"'
Kristen might not believe Rachel if she was directly told -- so she'll have to settle for indirect: Brendon is now on his way down so he can apologize on Rachel's behalf.
Which leads to (Jokers again):
'At the same time, Bren goes into the taj and apologizes for Rach to H/K...saying she was emotional...says he knows how it feel to be up on the block and says he's there if they want to talk.
After he leaves, Hay says: "I think he might actually be a good guy. He's too frikkin' good for Rachel, though." Kris agrees.'
The crazy is strong with that one...
