PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

I think that if I were Jim, I would have wanted to be home for the birth of my baby. How would you like to have to tell your daughter that you weren't at her birth because you were on a reality TV show. (and not even a very good one). The Donald would probably have flown him to see the baby and mom. I hope after missing this, it is worth it for him, but I would say that things don't look good for Jim.

I agree ! I feel bad for his wife that she had to do that alone. He went there fully knowing her due date.

If you had a husband like Jim, would you want him in the room with you while you were in labor? I mean for normal people of course it would be horrible to miss the birth of your child, but now that we have gotten to know Jim I think maybe his wife didnt want him there!

I was thinking the same thing, why miss the birth of your child, when he might not even win this. Plus they don't even get to rub elbows with Martha. They only see her for the task assignment and then at the conference room. Also, everyone remember that the Donald is also a producer of this show.

No, no, no, that's not the Martha way. Everyone can give a collective delicate shudder and say "That's NOT a good thing."

Hate to be an Anti-Hippie, Anti-emotional, traditionalist, but when I was born, I was lucky if my Father spent ten minutes pacing in the waiting room to catch a glimpse of his hours late, perfectly swaddled newborn. In other words, get over that "new-age" tolerence crap, and realize that Jim did what he had to do, without griping, to best support his family. In my book, that gets the Frank Sinatra, "I did it my way" real man award.
