Then Chelsea, Kim, Jay and Troyzan formed a new alliance and Kim found the HII and told Chelsea about it. When the Manono lost the brutal immunity chall, Colton went to work targeting Monica...Alicia tells us that the best blindside ever played...Monica is out of the loop, and out....With her only ally gone can Christina hang on? Night 14 Manono... Alicia thinks it was the funniest TC she has ever been to...best TC, we got Monica out, originally I had an alliance with the girls, but that's out the window so now Im with the boys...Colton is being mean to Christina, good luck, I don't care if she knows she's going home, she doesn't have an idol so she's going the more defeated she is the better it will be, he's telling her she'a ##### roach, if by some miraculous miracle you do make \it to the merge, then you will be the first one to go....by guys and girls... Christina now shoving Alicia over, she is too much on the edge, Alicia says she doesn't care cause you are going....Christina shoves her, scoot over....don't put your hands on me or I'll whack you, Alicia has a lack of integrity and Colton's a jerk, all gloves are off and I am going to fight hard...   Top

Tree mail for Salani....Kim reads, if you wer still a kid you would play this in your back yard and if you were starving you would play it real hard...guessing the reward is something sweet...dodge ball, tag, crochet, hop scotch guessing....Troyzan telling us the ohter team is just a bunch of misfits, we'll kick their a$$... At the coconut challenge...come on in, guys! Salani sees that Monica is gone, Sabrina notes it with confessional, they will pick the girls off one by one, we are fighting an up hill battle.... One at a time race to top of vcrates and throw a coconut to knock out targets, playing for ice cream...taken to Survivor style ice creamparlor, make sundaes and floats, eat until your stomach's hurt....anyone think the misfits are winning? And Colton gets a tummy ache... Start with Jay vs, Colton...misses, and Colton misses...Kat miss, Alicia miss, Troyzan Missis, Christine miss, Chelsea misses, Jonas miss, Kim connects and has one, Tarzan connects, tied! Leif gets one, Colton up and miss, Kat miss, Alicia is way short, Chelsea connects 2 -2 , Christina is short, Kim short, Jonas is short, Jay connects 3 - 2, Tarzan ties it up! Leif leaps up the crates, just misses, Kat scores they lead 4 - 3, Colton miss, Chelsea no, Alicia think about what you are doing and throw....pathetic....Jonas short, Mike is short, Christina is way short, Troyzan wins it! Salani wins Ice cream reward! He shouts this is our Island...Troyzan did.... Manono, got nothing....Christina was gradually going thru the challenge, so ready for her to be gone, you can quit, or wait 2 days, or jump in the fire, I hate everything about her!   Top

And to compound things even further, he screwed his alliance partner Alicia and his lapdog Jonas by keeping the HII for himself as a souvenir rather than consider helping one of them get further in the game. DAy 15, they will never forget it...hear them burp.... Birds in trees going to Manono on day 15, see craps(ETA: LOL! CRABS)....Colton says to Alicia lying down, he tells her to say thanks christina for giving it all you got, tells her it's your last 2 days, you can quit blah, blah....Christina says now no one likes me, but my parents didn't raise a quitter... Jonas: Colton and Alicia just want to get one last twist of the knife in... see Christina work on Jonas and Leif....she tells them that Alicia has an alliance with the girls and i'm not part of it. If you want to keep the guys strong cause if there is a merge, alicia will go back with the girls....Jonas in conf: says it's possible that what she's saying is true.... Christina is talking and Alicia walks up, it's either me or her, and then here Alicia clap for her behind her back....you are diggging yourself in a bigger game, then be a woman about it and say it to my face....they fight, Alicia tells her that it's all lies, Christina tells her, you have an alliance with the girls, Christina tells her, I'm not talking smack... Alicia tells her that Christina is telling them the truth, so she has to go...Alicia says she's done with her...   Top

"Post RC, Pre IC" Manono night 15....Christina has Colton's head on her lap, his brain hurts...tension headache....my brain ....I was sleeping and I woke up and it felt like my brain had attached to my skull....really hurting....Christina is being nice, she says in conf: if someone is sick I will be there for them....I'm not a bad person like Alicia portrays me to be....Colton says that Christina was like a mother, she will do whatever she has to to stay in the game... See Jonas and Gregzan geting some fruit....and there is a chicken. See Colton drinking in the shelter....Greg is looking at his tongue, you are dehydrated, force yourself to drink water....tells him all the signs of dehydration....Headache....the dr. says he's dehydrated....could be appendicitis, gas in the cecum...he goes to the jungle, his pee is brown, he's dizzy, doesn't no if he is so far gone, he's lying in the jungle, and he's hurting...he can't hold anything down....intense pain, and Christina comes up, he says it's like a knife in his back, and she goes and finds him and runs off....then helps him up, seeing him on ground crying he needs medical. I don't think Kim had any intention of scooping up Michael. She can carry along Kat as #6 a d she can string Sab along as 5th with those two thinking they are in a foursome. She is hiding her tie to Chelsea from them, and she will likely hide the Jay and Troy alliance. Jay and Troy like women and don't want to be in the misfits. So we have a Salani 6. Tarzan on his own. Alicia on her own. Christina with Leif and Jonas. Michael a threat, could be blindsided by Salani thinking he is one of them. Jay and Troy could even bamboozle the misfits into thinking it will be a tie of men vs women. Nice to have some directions that are beyond a simple tribal face off for a change. I like Jonas the best. He's a game player and adaptable. He is not in a good spot though. He'd better start looking like he's not at all the leader. The girls don't like him much either.   Top

"RE: Colton's last words" Appendectomy can now be performed with the laparoscope so recovery time is much improved. If the appendix have burst it can still be used, but it's up to the surgeon whether or not to do a laparotomy, where the abdomen is opened. I don't know if they do them routinely as an outpatient, but they can be done with a one night stay post op. I'm not saying that Colton was on that flight, as Monica said, she outed the flight five and Colton was NOT on it. We don't at this point even know if it was indeed an appendicitis or not yet, do we? I got the impression the diagnosis was really to rule out appendicitis. And, there was no way that he could stay in the game if they were worried or suspected it could be. Clearly, they made the right call.   Top

The only reason he got the initial spec IMHO was that at the time the spoiler came out no one knew his height. The cast spoilers gave up his name and an application video where his slight pudginess made him look possibly short. By the time we saw his height in the show, the Colton is identified error had stuck in people's heads, plus the spoiler didn't fit any of the guys properly. Medical facilities are generally subpar on Polynesian islands, and for him to get really good care if needed, he should have been flown to New Zealand. NZ acts as the medical hub for the Cooks, I know, and I think Samoa has a similar relationship. Both countries once were governed by NZ. Like in the Cooks, everyone flies to NZ for anything major, even for dialysis. He may not have needed surgery, but I do think he was handled separately.   Top

Matt is tall and lanky, so he would make Colton look short/pudgy by comparison. Colton likely wouldn't hang out with Bill at any time after their confrontations in Bill's boot ep, and the only others I could see Colton truly spending time with might be Kourtney or Nina. Dunno if Monica would hang out with him. I'm a fraction of an inch under 6 feet tall, but I've been described as "short-ish" because my brothers and cousins are all 6'3" or taller. I'm positively short compared to my uncle who is 6'8".   Top

"RE: Colton's last words" FP, I know you're a nurse and I don't mean to quibble, but I've had laparoscopic surgery (unfortunately) and I wasn't allowed to climb any stairs or lift anything heavier than five pounds for weeks afterwards. In the US it's only a one night hospital stay, but that is only in the US. I'd say that in any other country in the world they keep patients at least several days post op. I was nearly helpless when I went home. I was on strong painkillers for about five days which kept me groggy and in bed, and I needed help to go to the bathroom, someone to bring me meals and water, and so on. I just can't see Colton on a plane that quick, especially since it isn't really that important that he did so. Also, I thought Jeff confirmed at TC that he had appendicitis and surgery. He didn't say whether it had burst.   Top

"RE: Colton's last words" Hi Karchita: Yes, you are right, I don't know what the practice is for laparoscopy in different countries, and yes, patients do have restrictions, absolutely. But, everyone is different, and every surgery is different. And, pre-existing conditions are different. Some laparoscopic surgery is done here in the US in outpatient surgery, requiring no overnight stay, while other laparoscopic surgery involves alot more and may require a much longer hospital stay. The only point is that everyone is different, some involve less, some involve more. I never meant to imply that everyone is up and out and is the same. Sorry if it sounded like that! I never thought he would be on that plane if indeed he had surgery, in a couple days, but I am saying it wouldn't be unheard of for someone to travel outside of a week, and perhaps even less.... As it turns out, he had a bacterial infection and they flew him to New Zealand for treatment. So, they did fly him out in that condition. Sorry you had surgery, but I hope you are up and at 'em now!   Top

"I feel cheated" I am thrilled that Colton is out, but somehow feel cheated that he goes out this way. Think about RussHell. We hated him, and all got to celebrate (twice) when he lost at the final tribal council. But with Colton, we get no such celebration. In fact, by going out this way he is almost heroic. "Oh, poor me, I would have won but for this illness beyond my control". Not even an injury resulting from spastic use of a machete or anything. I am thrilled that he is out, but feel cheated about how he went out. And as pointed out up there ^^, this almost guarantees that he will be back for another season. All we can hope is that he gets booted quickly in that season.   Top

It seemed a little blatant to me, but I've narrowed down the reasons to: - she's hot, and cameramen/editors liked looking at her (it's all for the audience) - she's hot, and I noticed her more (it's all in my head) - she's secretly the winner this season (it's all subliminal) Was it just me? Because she seemed centered on every group shot, and her solitary "reaction" shots were shown (not that she had a lot of reaction). She didn't have a lot of confessionals (any?), so theoretically she's unimportant (right now?), but the camera did seem to linger... ...didn't it?   Top

They also withheld her in all those caps they released, causing spec she could have been gone instead of Nina, whereas they released a post merge cap of Kim. Chelsea, the new Tina.
