Christina is talking and Alicia walks up, it's either me or her, and then here Alicia clap for her behind her back....you are diggging yourself in a bigger game, then be a woman about it and say it to my face....they fight, Alicia tells her that it's all lies, Christina tells her, you have an alliance with the girls, Christina tells her, I'm not talking smack... Ruled out constipation....can you dx appendicitis...to risky not to take him out and get it checked, cause it could burst....he is begging not to be taken out....and crying....He says he still has the idol, Jeff asks, what are you going to do with it? He is bringing the tribe over to say goodbye....they think he has appendicitis....Alicia says that he and I always talk strategy, that puts me in a really bad spot....so result is Colton is being pulled from the game....Jonas says that he is the biggest survivor fan ever, Jonas is crying, he's heartbroken...are there any last words before we pull you from this game? and, Colton says, go get them....he's wearing the HII around his neck like a necklace. ETA: Another point of consideration - KKKolton had surgery to fix the appendicitis, and normal recovery time would take anywhere from 10 to 28 days (thanks Wiki) depending on whether it ruptured and on the age and health of the patient. If the appendix have burst it can still be used, but it's up to the surgeon whether or not to do a laparotomy, where the abdomen is opened. I don't know if they do them routinely as an outpatient, but they can be done with a one night stay post op. I'm not saying that Colton was on that flight, as Monica said, she outed the flight five and Colton was NOT on it. We don't at this point even know if it was indeed an appendicitis or not yet, do we? I got the impression the diagnosis was really to rule out appendicitis. And, there was no way that he could stay in the game if they were worried or suspected it could be. The only reason he got the initial spec IMHO was that at the time the spoiler came out no one knew his height. The cast spoilers gave up his name and an application video where his slight pudginess made him look possibly short. By the time we saw his height in the show, the Colton is identified error had stuck in people's heads, plus the spoiler didn't fit any of the guys properly. Medical facilities are generally subpar on Polynesian islands, and for him to get really good care if needed, he should have been flown to New Zealand. NZ acts as the medical hub for the Cooks, I know, and I think Samoa has a similar relationship. Both countries once were governed by NZ. Like in the Cooks, everyone flies to NZ for anything major, even for dialysis. Colton likely wouldn't hang out with Bill at any time after their confrontations in Bill's boot ep, and the only others I could see Colton truly spending time with might be Kourtney or Nina. Dunno if Monica would hang out with him. I'm a fraction of an inch under 6 feet tall, but I've been described as "short-ish" because my brothers and cousins are all 6'3" or taller. "RE: Colton's last words" FP, I know you're a nurse and I don't mean to quibble, but I've had laparoscopic surgery (unfortunately) and I wasn't allowed to climb any stairs or lift anything heavier than five pounds for weeks afterwards. In the US it's only a one night hospital stay, but that is only in the US. I'd say that in any other country in the world they keep patients at least several days post op. I was nearly helpless when I went home. I was on strong painkillers for about five days which kept me groggy and in bed, and I needed help to go to the bathroom, someone to bring me meals and water, and so on. I just can't see Colton on a plane that quick, especially since it isn't really that important that he did so. Also, I thought Jeff confirmed at TC that he had appendicitis and surgery. But, everyone is different, and every surgery is different. And, pre-existing conditions are different. Some laparoscopic surgery is done here in the US in outpatient surgery, requiring no overnight stay, while other laparoscopic surgery involves alot more and may require a much longer hospital stay. The only point is that everyone is different, some involve less, some involve more. I never meant to imply that everyone is up and out and is the same. Sorry if it sounded like that! I never thought he would be on that plane if indeed he had surgery, in a couple days, but I am saying it wouldn't be unheard of for someone to travel outside of a week, and perhaps even less.... As it turns out, he had a bacterial infection and they flew him to New Zealand for treatment. So, they did fly him out in that condition. "Oh, poor me, I would have won but for this illness beyond my control". Not even an injury resulting from spastic use of a machete or anything. I am thrilled that he is out, but feel cheated about how he went out. And as pointed out up there ^^, this almost guarantees that he will be back for another season.
