Yup, we've got another Wednesday episode thanks to March Madness, so here's the Monday edition of the voting thread. The Rules 1. Please put the name of your choice for this week's bootee IN THE SUBJECT HEADING! This is really easy. Just erase the bit where it says "Re: SurvivorBlows Tribe, It's Time to Vote!" and replace with your vote, i.e., Christy. This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Oh, and btw... nicknames are tougher to tally unless they're REALLY obvious without actually reading your vote. 2. Reply ONLY to this post! Curves on women are good. Curves on vote threads are bad. The first part bears repeating: I like curves on women. EXCEPTION TO RULE 2! VOTE CHANGES! If it just so happens that you wanna change your vote for whatever reason, REPLY TO YOUR ORIGINAL POST! Your new post heading should read "VOTE CHANGE: Dave (or Whoever)". That said, there is not exception to the fact that curves on women are good. 3. THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD! The guys will keep Heidi and Jenna because they are 'cute' and Christy because they have grown to admire her. Next week the men start to fight over who goes and the alliance breaks but this week Deena is an easy choice for them all to agree on.   Top

"Rob" alternate Dave Because I don't want it to be Alex....and Several people at LL have listed Rob as people that they liked, most notably Janet who never even met him. This would be the last week for him to join them. He has had a lot of face time and his story as a schemer has been developed. Also from the website teaser "One Survivor's smooth talk with the ladies irks Rob, who vows to target the suave tribe member." So maybe Rob targets someone and it backfires on him. I am theorizing that when the tribes are brought back together that his scheming will come out in the open. I remember someone last week or the week before mentioning that Alex was in an alliance with Dave, Roger and Butch. Alex was already clued into Rob's playing everyone and I think that the open discussion at Jaburu last week about who to boot will come back to bite Rob. It looked like Rob, Deena and Jenna had indicated that they would be voting together since the discussion was centered on which of the other three they would be voting against.   Top

Maybe they put in this scene to make us see that Deena has a trick up her sleeeve (hey eee!) ...But maybe she DOESN'T have a trick up her sleeeve. Who's the biggest threat to the men? DEENA! The only way Ryan could know that Daves alliance was a mistake is if Dave joins Ryan at loser lodge. -- So Dave gets voted out this week. Rob felt disrespected by being sent to the other team in the swap and blamed Dave. Deena will vote however Rob want's to vote, as long as a guy goes home. -- So Dave gets voted out this week. Heidi will jump back to Jenna's alliance when they merge, making the teams 5-4-1 (Alex being the wildcard). If Rob targets Alex, he risks Alex jumping to Dave's alliance creating a 5-5 tie. It's much more in Rob's interest to target Dave, keeping Alex onboard with a promise of a final 3 position. So Dave gets voted out this week.   Top

"Alex" Factors: ~ The Alex-Shawna dating rumours that they first hooked up at LoserLodge -- is 3 or 4 days enough for them to truly hook up to the point where they are convinced they're right for each other? DanaH spoiler suggested they hooked up at the resort. ~ Ryan's chat stating that Dave "will regret" his decision to not oust Roger -- this sounds to me like Ryan is expressing out of bitterness that Dave will get what's coming to him, but they haven't had a chance to reconcile in LL (or he'd say Dave "regrets"...) ~ There's a possibility that Roger wins IC because of all the misdirection going on with CBS and the promos. ~ I don't think Deena's storyline has been built up enough (although that didn't stop Jeanne from being booted 2 eps ago). ~ I haven't seen enough of a story with Matthew nor was there any hint of a promo relating to him to make me think he's a boot candidate yet. ~ I can't see Butch, Christy, Jenna, Heidi and Rob going just yet. So that leaves Alex as the most logical candidate for tonight's boot.   Top

I'm not biting at the Alex "spoilers" this week, because I think they rely too heavily on the notion that he must be at LL with Shawna. Shawna's "save his butt" comment may have been her reaction to that specific vote and nothing else. The BostonGuy intel that Alex gets taken out by Rob/Jenna/Heidi can still come true in another week or two. And JP said this about Alex early on: "He's had a lot of life experiences, and he had a level head throughout the Survivor' experience.'' I can't picture JP saying this about someone who he basically didn't see for the last half of the game. I suspect "level-headed" Alex won't let Shawna's departure screw up his chances to get further. I doubt Jaburu would begrudge Alex for not voting for Shawna; he even told them he was voting for Matt. And I can't see Butch/Roger/Dave being upset that Alex voted against Matt, if they find out -- Matt was on the outs in old Tambaqui, and the guys would still want him gone soon since he's an IC threat. So. Deena and Rob will set their sights on insufferable, bossy Roger, and Dave: future IC threat, leader of the Enemy Tribe, and suave Golden Boy who banished Rob from Tambaqui. Roger will be edited as the primary target, but we have this recent quote from Shawna: As for the other Bay Area contestant, Roger Sexton, Mitchell said she only saw him at the challenges. "Since we were never on the same team, I never talked to him..." Sounds like she never got to know Roger outside their time in the game. Krautboy's vidcap spec also makes a good case that Roger wins IC. So Dave becomes the eventual target. Jenna owes him nothing: he stole Heidi from her. Heidi doesn't owe him: he twisted her arm into voting with the Tambaqui men, who ignored her afterward in favor of Christy. Matt will go along with his new alliance partner Rob, and Alex should be on board as well, recognizing the IC threat Dave will be down the line. Rob will hoodwink Dave, Butch, and Roger into thinking the men are all back together and are going to use their 6 votes to take out Deena. Where Christy fits in is anybody's guess, but her vote is not crucial to either faction so she may get left out of the loop altogether. Shawna also says this: `I lost 22 pounds in the Amazon and when I was voted off, the producers told me that I needed to eat well and take care of myself. I had three Snicker bars, a Coke and a beer and just chilled,'' Mitchell says. ``I literally gained 35 pounds in the three weeks after I was voted off. We also have a weight gain spoiler for Dave. He can spend his time chunking up at LL with Shawna, while renewing his friendship with Ryan, who said: Dave and myself have a very very unique relationship and it's hard to explain... Dave is a stand up guy and we made a good bond and a great friendship. No one at LL (except Shawna) has indicated they have any kind of relationship with Alex. The Jeanne and Shawna boots resulted from relatively uncomplicated circumstances, and I think the same will be true this week. An Alex boot seems too unwieldy to orchestrate. Dave and Roger are the least complicated and the most desirable targets, if new Jaburu does the simple thing and sticks together, roping Heidi back in. Alex can be taken out after new Tambaqui's numbers get reduced. Dave and Roger both fit game logic and OFG theory. But we have indications that Roger does not go to LL, so it makes the most sense that Dave gets the boot. Unless Alex goes. Still time to change my mind (but not much).   Top
