It's all about ratings, you know. If Adam hadn't been in the bottom 2, where would the surprise have been? Everybody already knew Matt was going home, so if they didn't shake things up a little, what would people have been talking about the next day? Matt going home? Heck, they're still not talking about that - it's still all about Adam. (And I seriously doubt Adam was in the b2 in votes.)

I do believe the results are 'manipulated' by the producers to fit whatever's in their best interests. However, I also find this whole 'conspiracy' theory about Kris being 'thrown under the bus' by the judges to be a bit much. Allison was also harshly critized, but I don't hear many people claiming that she was being set up to fail.

Let's face it, at this stage of the game, the competition is fierce and, as good as Kris is, he's never been nearly as good as the remaining three (even though Danny has admittedly been slipping a lot lately) and this should be his last show. But, heck, 4th place is nothing to sneeze at! (And after this, it'll probably be Allison's time to leave, followed by Danny - unless, of course, the producers 'decide' that they need to have an Adam/Allison finale.). Oh well - like I have to keep reminding myself when I get worked up about something (like Adam being in the b2) - it's just a television show.
