Ummm....that's actually not what I said....or meant to say anyways.

As I understand it a handful of school districts across the country have banned the bracelets and in my opinion they have the right to decide what may or may not cause too much of a distraction in their schools/district. As a student you follow the rules or you choose not too and suffer the consequences.

The school my kids go to the bracelets are allowed and I think that's fine (and my youngest son actually has one that he wears). If they become a problem the school will ban them and that's fine too.

Believe me, I know you can't ban something because teenage boys are inappropriately amused. I can barely complete a sentence anymore without one of my kids smirking because I apparently said something that could be taken the wrong way....seems to be a habit of mine. I think I'll go back to lurking now
