I think Dominic needs to figure out what motivates him. I don't think he enjoys enough of a variety of things to find the benefit in going to college.If nothing else, expanding his horizons would make him a better song writer, that is, if he's serious about his music. It was hard to tell.
He's a simple man and too laid back. He lacks maturity and drive. He's probably too influenced by his current lifestyle and group of buddies to be like Cuban. He was probably just out for a free ride. He had no real plan for the money other than to be a party dude on the beaches on Mexico.
I will say this, he does seem good natured. I love that he gave that little boy his necklace. On that premise alone, I would have loved to have seen him defeat Femia.
I can't put my finger on all of it exactly, but I am not happy for Femia.
