When I saw them completely cut the other home visits I thought wow, they're serious with these cuts -- only to see them, justa few seconds later, wasting minute after minute on dumb "suspense building" drama.
I think if they had re-edited the WHOLE footage of the three episodes they could have done a much better job with the editing -- instead it looked like instead of re-editing every individual segment and removing unnecessary material, the producers took a "what the ####" approach (figuring the show was cancelled anyways) and decided to just stick entire previously edited segments of the last three episodes together.
The fact that they learned of the cancellation a week before Ep5 aired and yet still opted to air Ep5 as originally designed (rather than re-edit it to include some of the original Ep6's footage and better balance the reduction in airtime) just seemed to reinforce this point.
I mean really, did we need 30+ minutes to find out the final winner?
