I'll add some of my own.- Despite all the strange deals he made, I thought Chris left a good impression. He stepped out and took the challenge himself, and in the end probably the only thing that got him beat was he trusted the wrong people. Deanna's little evil laugh at the end doesn't quite match up with the villains of other reality shows BTW...
- Even though Chris may have been given that horse, I'm still a bit surprised at the pick. Because Eric picked the horse he did, technically they all had a chance. But pretty much any of the sprinters plus a few of the routers would have won that race IMO. He ended up with one of the two or three that left it in doubt.
- The whole Kona Gold thing was interesting on several levels. Ironic how 2 of the 4 that correctly identified him supposedly didn't know anything about horses. Some of the techniques some of the players used to identify the horse were, well, interesting.
- The horse who was, um, excited... was it a result of Sara or of Eric "checking under the hood" as the host put it? No comment. Don't know why they blurred it out though, as the guy from American Pie would say, it's a very natural, normal thing. Hey at least they didn't whip out the water bottle on camera to try and, err, control the situation.
- Levar seems to come off better and better to me each episode. Seems to be smart, and as the guy pointed out, seems to know more than he's leading on.
- As for the vote, who knows. It's impossible to tell what kind of following the show has, so if a player enlists their family/friends to do some huge voting, it could get them in. We're not talking Survivor or American Idol here.
- As for Eric and Deanna being safe, I gotta think the other players know they are locks for the 1/2 spots unless they get eliminated. So doesn't it make sense to put them up if you're in charge? You're not gonna catch them anyway. I suppose if you're cocky, you try to get into that third spot on your own. But considering what's left of the horses, I wouldn't trust my pick to win.
