"Krista" Nicole and Hardy seemed determined to oust Krista this week as the bigger threat of the two. Will is flirting with the notion of voting for Monica but in the end, he will follow the rule of Bunky and do what he's told (neither Will nor Bunky is being told to vote his conscience this week). And despite all the criticism of Bunky's weaknesses, right now he's looking pretty good for the final three. So put the nutria on the barbeque Thursday night cause Krista'll be home in time for vittles.   Top

"America's Sweetheart" I agree they have finally reached the point where end-game strategy overrides the easy-to-live-with contest. Monica is weird but not a threat for the back-to-back HOH run Nicole envisions, at least in Nicole's mind. I don't know why she's so sure, because the challenges are DUMB and Monica's odd but not stupid. And yes, I think Will and Bunky know they have to go with the group or become targets. A pity they can't both be evicted!   Top

"Krista" Please... oh please let the BB2 production staff have the guts to install a 'cold shoulder cam' at the Belly Bar to show Mike Boogie when he says... 'Krista who?' BB2 missed the boat big time when they failed to have Shannon's IRL boyfriend meet her at the door with all her stuff packed for her in green garbage bags. I wonder if they will do a follow-up episode - it would certainly promise a great deal of emotional carnage on the home front for some of these morons. My vote is for Krista... and a big vote for showing Mr. Boogie at the 'moment of truth'!   Top

"Krista" From a strategy stand point this is the best move if for NicHole and Hardbody. Monica almost blew it with her attitude earlier in the week but last night she showed a lot of class at the house meeting and everyone, except Will, is pissed at Krista for how she has been playing the game. The only flaw in their plan is if Monica wins HOH next week. If she does I think NicHole and Hardy are going to be nominated. There are two types of people, predators and prey, and the sound you hear is the sharpening of my claws.   Top

Like Autumn, the house seems to be taking a toll on Krista. She seems to not be the same person she was in the first few weeks. So I do hope Krista gets evicted this week. Perhaps the only reason I might want Monica out is so I can stay in Koko's BB2 pool, so whichever is fine with me. When I was little I prayed to God for a bike, but then I realized God doesn't work like that. So I stole a bike then prayed for forgiveness.   Top

You need a road map to know where she's going half the time, but I dig her incoherent rants and pep talks! I was pulling for a Bunky/Will rebellion but it's not going to happen. Who decided Nicole had so much power. They all act like they have to defer to her and they don't. Not during HOH or any other time. I am caring less and less about this show. When will these producers figure out that you have to have someone to root for? Who was supposed to be the good guy in this bunch? I feel a list of most hated coming on and they aren't worth the energy.   Top

How would everyone feel about starting a vote thread to the end of BB2 after tonight's HoH competition with the restriction that the thread is locked before Thursday 8/23's eviction? Since everybody but sleeeve(?) agrees that Krista is out this week, and there is not much speculation or spoiling in our votes with all the day to day info coming from the feeds, it might make for a little more fun to have to guess wildly about the HoH competitions and who will ally with whom til the end. LAST EDITED ON 08-16-01 AT 06:05 PM (EST) What you're talking about it called a "PTTE", or "Picks To The End"... Please start a new thresd for this, and include some rules for all of us (just make them up... that's the way that this usually works ) For example: List all remaining players in the order that they are to be booted from the game, starting with Krista, and ending with the winner. I, for one, would be glad to participate. EDITED TO ADD: Side note, Mumbo, try hilighting my entire post, above, and you might find something to surprise you.
