I am sick of hearing reality show contestants saying they are "playing for God" or getting to a point in the game where they ask God for help in competing in the game. I think it's somewhat hyprocritical to ask for guidance in this respect, as you are asking for help to beat other teams and win money, and any person or family that claims to be as religious as the Weavers, for instance, should know that their faith is not about material possessions (or at least mine isn't). I know that this is a game, and they are free to play it as they choose, but I really don't think there are any higher powers that really would care enough to want to have any effect on a game show. It will play out on its own. If there's no better example of how much God doesn't care about how reality TV shows play out, just look at BB6.
