PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

28. "RE: Smoke Screen!" |
Waaay too much weirdness going on so close to tonight's airing. I have this image of the Survivor powers-that-be sitting in their ivory towers right now emitting peals of evil laughter watching all of us scratching our heads. Something tells me that from here on, there will be a concerted effort from the top to toss out elements of both truth and lies. I think we'll get just enough scraps of truth mixed in with the bogus stuff to keep us hooked, where in the past maybe there wasn't quite the same need to share anything of real substance. Concerning the Hatch/lawsuit situation, maybe parts are true and parts aren't? If memory serves me right, there was speculation early on that a contestant would have a "temper tantrum/hissy fit." At that time, Ethan was considered the likely candidate. However, we're now hearing of a hissy fit in connection with Hatch and that it's a woman who loses her cool. Maybe a contestant comes into contact with Hatch's jewels and merely shrieks in horror and forgets about it while someone else has a hissy fit about something completely unrelated. As for the lawsuit, who knows? It wouldn't surprise me if someone says "SUE" in connection with the contestant Sue, and it's misconstrued to mean possible litigation. Wasn't it Varner who suggested that Hatch smuggled matches? Unless I missed it, that didn't come to fruition. Maybe he's part of the information machine MB uses. EMT
