Another point or two. I cannot imagine that MB would EVER show anyone saying that they are going to sue "CBS or MB". This would give instant publicity to that person and CBS and MB would be instant targets of media scrutiny. I could see this person saying, "I'm going to sue Dicque for sexual harassment," or something along the lines of "I'm going to sue somebody."

I don't think they can edit out the actual incident, nor can they edit out any "fit" to be had, but they could edit in their favour any references to a lawsuit.

This may explain why we have seen Jerri in such a precariously mental state. They could be showing her as unstable and are already trying to sway public opinion as a lead up to this episode.

Finally Varner suggested that this happens over the next couple of episodes. This tells me that it could happen this week, the threats and the realization would happen the next week. Jerri could threaten to quit/sue next week and then come to terms over it and still exit "gracefully" later in the game.
