"RE: Elimination" Yep, seems like the differential in the vote totals is so big that unless someone gets a huge bump in scores they aren't going to overcome it. I wonder if the last two places were a lot closer in the past or something. I know playing with what numbers we have (dial idol which isn't that accurate) this week the last place person on that wouldn't have over taken the next to last people even with a perfect score. Now the good news is that means if America really wants someone to go home it is hard to overcome that, but the way it is going it just makes us watch two bad dances again just to give false hope to someone that it really will matter. "RE: Elimination" So far, the dance-off seems to be a waste of time, especially since it appears that the judges are doing consolation higher scores for the losers. But, I can't help but wonder if the reason is to prevent another Cheetah Girl episode like a few seasons ago—this is their chance to keep the really good dancers on board and get the really crummy dancers (like Cloris last time) off of the show.
