"Seacrest Says (WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILER)" |
WARNING: This post may contain information about the winner of The Apprentice.I have a friend who religiously listens to Ryan Seacrest's Los Angeles-based radio show, and she says that Ryan spoiled the winner of "The Apprentice" on his show Wednesday. Apparently, Ryan accurately reported the winner of America's Top Model 2 on the show a few weeks ago, and now he says that he has reliable information that Kwame will be Trump's apprentice. Take it for what it's worth. Personally, since it's Ryan and since Trump will not announce the winner until the live finale, I'm not sure if I believe it, but I figured that I'd dutifully report it here. Oh... and if this has already been mentioned, then I apologize

Kwame certainly has a shot at the job. He has both the education and the temperment to handle a job of such responsibility. ALso, given that this challenege is largely a subjective competition, the fact that Omoanorosa was given such a hard time (not) may actually help Kwame win.

Sure Kwame may win. Since there are now only 5 candidates to work for the Don, his chance's are now 20%, so his shot to win is as good as any. Now is when they get their poker face on and strategize against each other.

Kwame as the winner doesn't surprise me based on MB's editing. Kwame hasn't had much face time lately. The focus is on Nick and Amy. Bill is now being edited as a mean s.o.b (extra face time) so it's feasible that Kwame he-who-has-no-hidden-agenda ends up winning it all. My boot order prediction: Amy - "fall from grace" Bill - he doesn't fit in with the remaining guys Troy - It won't be a Troy/Kwame 2-man lovefest in front of Trump. Nick - We will put up with his smirk a little longer Kwame - if you had to chose between Nick and Kwame, who would you pick?

I saw Larry King Live where DT said the winner has not been chosen yet. He said the winner will be announced live, so those that made it to the final three or two -- even they dont know who will be chosen until the finale. At least thats what DT said on the Larry king live show.

Hmmh, this jibes with Katrina's announcement that Kwame is The Apprentice. Two spoiler sources both announcing the same winner could be ominous. But then again, both announcements MAY just actually be coming from the SAME source...

I totally agree. What has Kwame really done? Here are a few things off the top of my head. 1. Pick the horrible location for the lemonade sales. 2. Misrepresent himself at the Planet Hollywood challenge. 3. Could not even make $1 drivng the bike/taxi. 4. Let Troy carry him most of the way so far. Kwame seems to be a decent guy, but I just do not see him as the best of the group.

5. He picked the artist, or at least made the final decision. SO he took a risk instead of going with the safe choice big deal 6. Saw a tiger/magic show you mean while the other tema was sleeping or while Nick and Amy was playing footsies
In the three episodes where he was Project Leader, he never acted as a leader:
Planet Hollywood, Bill was the obvious leader. Bill was the leader from inside the restaurant while Kwame was OUTSIDE most of the night I should hope so being that Kwame put him in charge there Kwame is no leader, simply a great follower. Kwame's always followed through with his plans, never openly criticized any of his project members in the middle of the project, never appeared flustered and has done what had to be done (regardless of what others thought) to win. that sure as hell sounds like a great leader to me. Casino, Bill lead them to victory. Sure he did following Kwame's instruction. Art Show, Heidi and Troy were the leaders if there was any. you just contradicted yourself because you just said that Kwame made the final decision to pick the artist. SO he took a risk instead of going with the safe choice big dealTrue, but it was stupid risk, as revealed by the final results. You have to believe in the product that you're selling, per Uncle Donald's lesson time. Kwame (as well as the rest of the group) blew that lesson. you mean while the other tema was sleeping or while Nick and Amy was playing footsies Come on. There's a big difference between sleeping and going to a show. Even though I think Versa was wrong for sleeping away planning time, if you really wanted to, you could justify why they did it. "They were tired, needed more energy for challenge... Yada yada yada..." Had only Kwame gone to the show, I could see a reasonable justification to it. They had to see the show to get the tiger. Fine. Send Troy back with Bill for more planning then. This is one of my criticisms of Troy too. Kwame's always followed through with his plans, never openly criticized any of his project members in the middle of the project, never appeared flustered and has done what had to be done (regardless of what others thought) to win. that sure as hell sounds like a great leader to me. True, Kwame has been one of the most levelheaded leaders of the group. But Kwame is also the Master Delegator. That's a good quality in a leader sometimes, so the leader can look at the whole picture. But, the PM should also lead, as in making adjustments, new ideas. It seems like to me all the ideas come from Troy. But that's just IMHO. Sure he did following Kwame's instruction. They might have edited it out. I just remember Bill stressing the importance of VIPs. Until the cameras show Kwame instructing, I'm skeptical. I think Kwame is a great guy and has good business sense. I really do. But he really hasn't been too visible as far as leadership and brainstorming... Maybe it's being edited that way. I dunno. I'm just calling what I see. Jims02: 2004 CMY Anti-Executee Champ

1. Pick the horrible location for the lemonade sales perhaps but he was also the person who secured the table and other supplies for free2. Misrepresent himself at the Planet Hollywood challenge so flirting with customers to buy drinks or giving up in the middle of the challenge is a good representation? 3. Could not even make $1 drivng the bike/taxi How much did Superstar Amy make doing the same thing? 4. Let Troy carry him most of the way so far. 1. Pick the horrible location for the lemonade sales perhaps but he was also the person who secured the table and other supplies for freeI would say the sales location was a lot more important than the free supplies. 2. Misrepresent himself at the Planet Hollywood challenge so flirting with customers to buy drinks or giving up in the middle of the challenge is a good representation? Don't change the subject. Yes the women were in the wrong and it has caught up with them since 7 of them have been fired in a row. As Bill and Nick pointed out Kwame was very unethical in his actions at Planet Hollywood. It is obvious that he was trying to make people think he was somebody important, which at the time he was not yet somebody famous. 3. Could not even make $1 drivng the bike/taxi How much did Superstar Amy make doing the same thing? Amy came up with the idea for selling advertising on the taxi. I am not sure how much she made giving taxi rides, but Kwame admitted to making nothing. 4. Let Troy carry him most of the way so far. Right how many board rooms has troy saved Kwame from o yea the same amount as Kwame saved bill from. Kwame is Troy's right hand man. His puppet. Anybody that cannot see that is just not looking or does not want to see the truth. Bill won the casino challenge by coming up with the high roller strategy. Kwame was merely the beneficiary of Bill's great idea. If you look at the others they've made at least the same amount of mistakes if not more. This is a board on Kwame, I am sure the others have made mistakes. But to say Kwame is so great is a joke. The guy has made huge mistakes on many occasions.

Exactly! You can get people to do anything for you when they like you. People skill is one of the most important factor for leadership. Many people have brillaint ideas, that's why you hire staff for. But how to bring out the best in people/make people feel at ease is more difficult skill to acquire and that's why people who have this skill would make a good leader.

I've been saying since episode 3 that it was going to come down to Troy and Kwame. They're the only two on the show that have looked remotely able to handle a multi-million dollar company. I figure that MB selected the cast this way on purpose to have the final selection come down to "Harvard MBA" vs. "the good ole' boy with a high school edjikation and down home charm". It would be the best TV possible. MB must be patting himself on the back for regaining control of His show from those idiotic survivors that that never vote the way they're supposed to. MB probably gave Trump the final 2 before the show started taping.
