PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/DCForumID133/51.shtml#12If Jon thinks he's been lied about before, he still has a real surprise coming. When you take on a network, as Jon has done, you're up against people who lie for a living and who probably wouldn't recognize the truth if it bit them in the butt. He's in for a real battle, and the network isn't one bit hesitant about lying.... As I said, Jon's in for a tsunami of bad publicity. His lawyer already claimed that the Stephanie Santoro interview in In Touch was orchestrated by the network in an effort to trash Jon. And that was BEFORE Jon forced the cancellation of TLC's most successful show. Now the gloves will come off. And so it comes to pass. . . .

Why do you assume that the network has lied? Jon hasn't made a secret of the fact that he wants to become involved in other projects on television and to do that, he'd need to be released from his exclusive contract with TLC. Given the sleazy track record (well documented) of the lawyer he hired, I don't find it all that hard to believe that TLC is telling the truth about the demand to release Jon from the contract and the threat to stop filming if they didn't.

LOL..that's probably true in some aspect. I'm sure there's been lies and half-truths on both sides. What's convinced me that in this case TLC is stating the truth is because of how many times Jon's contradicted himself. He's been on so many shows lately and given so many interviews that he forgets what he's told each of them. LOL!!
