The final 2 will be Rupert and Amber - Amber wins it allPoint 1 we have Tom's Episode 1 comment "This is a game for the big boys". At this stage that points to either RUPERT or Tom (or in theory both of them in the final 2). But I think it's Rupert based on point 2, and not both of them based on point 3 & 4.
Point 2 we have Rupert's exuberance at the S7 reunion. His entire demeanor was that of a winner - Not of a 3rd-5th place finisher. At the point in time when they filmed the S7 reunion I think it's clear that Rupert made it to the Final 2, and in his mind atleast, he still had a good chance of winning the $1,000,000.
Point 3 we have Rob's comment that he want's to get the girl and the $1,000,000. He get's his wish with Amber being the other half of the final 2 (and the winner of the TC vote).
Point 4 we have MB needing to justify the inclusion of Shi Ann in this game. This is suppose to be a game of All Stars. The only time I've seen any indication Shi Ann had a clue about what was going on in the game, was when she said Amber's going to win this game if everyone's not careful. By showing us this comment, MB justified Shi Ann's inclusion as a player with a deep understanding of just who the power player(s) are. This points to Amber as the ultimate winner.
Point 5 we have MB's editing of Rupert this time around. After the positive edit he was getting in S7, He's been taken down a few notches in S8. IE. He hasn't been given winner editing this time around. This is to justify his loss to Amber in the final 2.
Point 6 we have Jenna's comment in Episode 1 saying that it's the girls game now. Given Jenna's editing so far, I can't see her winning. It's one think to give a player negative editing as a manipulator like Hatch and Brian. It's something different to give a player negative editing as a whiner, and self appointed food police. If we think Jenna's comment about this being the girls game now is relevant, then it will be the only other girl left (Amber) who takes the game.
Point 7 we have Rob's brother Mike saying don't trust anyone, and pointing out Rupert specifically as the snake in the grass and don't trust Amber. Rob and Mike had something like 24 hrs to talk strategy. And the only 2 players they talked about were Rupert and Amber? There is a reason MB showed us Mike/Rob talking about Rupert/Amber. It's because they are the final 2.
Point 8 we've seen Amber play this game twice now. We assumed Amber was picked for this game because after Elizabeth, and Colleen turned MB down she was next in the "cute girl" pecking order. But I find it interesting that this is the second time she has aligned herself with a player in what could be described as a variation on the good cop/bad cop routine. If this is actually strategy as Shi Ann indicated, and not just luck/editing it would easily explain why under the radar Amber beats provider Rupert.
Point 9 we have Rob's editing as a great player. But we've had great editing before with players that were fun to watch but never even sniffed the final 2. Rob being edited as a great player only means that MB thought the audience would find him entertaining - right up to the point where he's voted off.
