Ryan Star.
Apparently Glowie got her way. He sang his original (Back of My Car) and wins a Honda CRV.
My opinion: His performance was OK but I think Ryan was capable of better.
My other opinion: I like the CRV more than the Element.

Love Ryan, love "Back of your car" . . . but why did Dilana have to introduce him ?? Consolation prize is a new car . . . but Ryan's real prize was the huge boost in his fan base as viewers around the world have been introduced to his talent.

Karma Police was just okay to me, but I am not a Radiohead Fan.
Tody's original is my 2nd fave from this season - - - I love the energy, melody, lyrics -- everything. I laughed watching Toby & Magni interact -- the EVS on Magni's head & Magni kneeling & holding the guitar for Toby. The whole performance was awesome.
If Toby doesn't win, Toby & Magni should tour together.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Who gives a crap about Paula Abdul! They probably had to grease the doorways to get her inflated head out of there.
Lucas was amazing! Maybe Dave's huge ego was threatened because the audience goes nuts for him.

Though I had a quick laugh when, right after intro'ing Pauls from AI, he talked about how great it was to be involved in a show that allows rockers to showcase their originals (total opposite of Idol!!).

I was more impressed with her than I've been for several weeks now. I thought she did a great job with "Roxanne," I dunno what Paul was griping about, that was great! I even liked her original way better than the last time. Still not sure I see her with SN but she went up in my estimation.

I loved Magni's original...but I think it's too good for Supernova. They love Tobey's which is basically a pop song, catchy, but not intense or deep. Which is perfect for them as I don't think they will be either.
I wonder how committed they are since two of them are still with their original bands....

I did watch last year PRE, and don't remember it like this. There were 3 left. The performed, then INXS eliminated MiG, and then both Marty & JD sang with INXS, and then they picked JD. No bottom 3, although there were only 3.
So hypothetically, since there are 4, would the 1 not in the bottom 3 win? as if.

My understanding is they will have the bottom 2 identified by voting, then SN will eliminate one of those. The remaining 3 will then sing and SN will choose the singer for them.
I think it is different from last year though.

That was a fun night! I know I am late with comments but here goes:
I thought Ryan rocked it - easily the best original this season. (And...if you look closely, you can see him say, "This one's for you Glow".)
Loved the interaction between Toby and Lukas but neither really gave a commanding finale performance.
Lukas was phenomenal. Simpy phenomenal. I thought he blew everyone out of the water, until Dilana. Don't love her, but she really showed her stuff last night.
