Dancing the Jive to Move Right Out of My Life 1-800-868-3407 Bristol came out with a trunk with Mark's initials on it and then opened and dumped out the contents: what appeared to be the Gorilla suits from that ill-fated Monkees' Jive...

Derek earned those 10s. Jennifer didn't. She spent alot of the dance sitting on the floor. 3 different times Derek was dancing and twirling and Jennifer was watching. Twice she was sitting on the floor and the other time she was just walking behind Derek while he twirled. Yet Maks and Brandy get called out for taking too long to start dancing. But Jennifer can do nothing and get raved at and thrown 10s. I guess it helps to be the chosen one with the golden boy.

This was actually a lot better than I expected it to be when I heard what they'd be dancing to, however compared to the original, it is pretty horrible  . Watching it trying to block the original out of my mind and just focus on the dancing, it was a decently enjoyable routine and involved about as much emotion from bristol as i've seen (though not as much as the others still...).

I just tried calling for Kyle and got a message that I have reached my limit when I didn't get thru once. How the heck could anyone think Bristol's first dance was worthy of 9s? And the second was worthy of 7s, maybe. I am really going to re-evaluate whether this show is worthy of my attention next season.

So many people are complaining about Bristol/Mark still being in the competition, but I am soooo tired of the obvious favoritism the judges are giving Jennifer/Derek. That freestyle was in no way worthy of 10's.

I am sooooo over Derek. Most of the time HE is doing all the dancing while she wiggles. He takes over the interviews by either talking over Jennifer or doing some sort of bizarre act to get attention while she talks. Please don't give him the winner's pick next year.

They will. The little twerp is their golden boy, so them what're in charge will always favor the little SOB. Nobody ever came right out and said it, but I suspect the favoritism toward the Houghs and Ballases is one of the reasons Alec and Edyta are no longer there. She said the PC stuff about moving on with her life, but I think she didn't want to burn any bridges. They keep favoring that one little group with great partners and high scores and such, and loyal pros like Edyta keep getting the short end of the stick. She and Alec kept getting mostly crappy partners, and that's a big reason they are no longer there. The going back to school thing, though true, is just a front IMO.

I might know what ABC's counter could be to those complaints: vote early on in the show... I did, and my 10 votes total for Kyle/Lacey (5 for land line, 5 for cell) got through relatively easily...

I read the numbers to call on this East Coast thread, wrote them down, and right when the show started at 8 pm here on the West Coast, I called and got through with no problem. I hadn't seen anyone dance yet, but was able to phone in my votes.
