Hey guys! I haven't been around the boards in a while, unfortunately, but there's something that's REALLY been bothering me since I first saw the previews for For Love Or Money 2. Maybe it's already been discussed here, and if it has, I apologize in advance. Feel free to close this and redirect me. Anyways, on to the point. Eric looks SOOOOO friggin' familiar to me, and I can't figure out why. I want to say he was on another reality show, maybe even a dating show. If anyone has ANY idea where I would recognize him from, PLEASE tell me, because it's driving me crazy! Thanks!  Sara

I don't recognize him, but he did make an impression on me. He's cute. The only reality dating shows I have seen with women choosing men are the Bachelor and (yuck) Mr Personality. I am almost sure he was not on either one of those

P.S. Dustin thought he was the type you'd take home to meet your parents? Only if you wanted to scare the hell out of them - looked like a budding axe murderer to me!

I am pretty sure that Eric is from Season 1 of "Meet My Folks". He was one of the 3 guys trying to go on a trip with the girl. I just wish I could remember what he got busted on during the lie detector!

Both "Meet My Folks" and "For Love Or Money" are produced by Bruce Nash, there's no way he didn't know this guy had already appeared on another dating show recently. And how old was Melana -- 21? 22? >row like this. Dawg, I really doubt it. In case you missed it, "Meet My Folks" and "For Love Or Money" have the same producer -- Bruce Nash. Nash ("Nash Entertainment") has produced "Meet My Folks", "Mr. Personality", "For Love Or Money", and now "Who Wants To Marry My Dad?" He was also behind the yet-to-see-the-light-of-day "Around The World in 80 Dates" series "FLOM2" was filmed on pretty short notice -- just about all the interviews with the FLOM2 bachelors (here, here, and here) mention how they had originally applied for "80 Dates", been approached for the roll of Rob in FLOM1, etc. The casting appears to have been a complete mad scramble to hurry up and get another edition of the series filmed and in the can before the promos for the first edition became airing. There don't seem to have been ANY FLOM2-specific casting done (I never saw a casting call, etc.) My guess is Eric is simply another bachelor that Nash Entertainment had previously dealt with who's number they had handy. My issue is with Nash more than Eric -- recycling this guy as a reality TV contestant so soon is pretty desperate... far more pathetic than even what FOX did with Toni Ferrari on Paradise Hotel... at least they waited 2 years, these guys didn't wait even 6 months (where I come from, you can't even win a radio contest twice in 6 months -- never mind appear on two different dating shows airing on the same network.) -SB
