PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

1. "RE: How was Rob selected?" |
LAST EDITED ON 07-10-03 AT 12:22 PM (EST)Rob was apparently cast at the last minute (the start of production of the series was supposedly delayed for a week because they still couldn't find a bachelor) by a casting directory who found him (get this... big surprise here) in a bar on St. Patricks Day. At least that was the story that either Erin or Kelly (I can't remember) told during an interview that I've read. I think it was a Kelly interview, because I also remember her saying she and Erin (both from SF) were the last two women cast (apparently just about all the men and women in FLOM1 and FLOM2 were originally found during a casting search for a show called "Around the World in 80 Dates". After that fell through, they were called to audition for a show called "Looking For Love" (the in production name of "For Love Or Money") Of course, according to this, it didn't stay delayed for long. Here's a link to an article where one of the FLOM2 guy's talks about it: http://www2.bostonherald.com/entertainment/television/tvco07082003.htm -SB
