Hey guys! I haven't been around the boards in a while, unfortunately, but there's something that's REALLY been bothering me since I first saw the previews for For Love Or Money 2. Maybe it's already been discussed here, and if it has, I apologize in advance. Feel free to close this and redirect me. Anyways, on to the point. Eric looks SOOOOO friggin' familiar to me, and I can't figure out why. I want to say he was on another reality show, maybe even a dating show. If anyone has ANY idea where I would recognize him from, PLEASE tell me, because it's driving me crazy! Thanks!

I don't recognize him, but he did make an impression on me. He's cute. The only reality dating shows I have seen with women choosing men are the Bachelor and (yuck) Mr Personality. I am almost sure he was not on either one of those

Hey TG! I'm not sure which one Eric is, sorry I can't help you on that. But, is it just me, or does Munch look like Bob's (from the Bachelor) long lost brother? I find something strikingly similar about them, and it's not just the humor thing.

(I'm new here by the way..hey everyone!)

TourGirl, I've been going nuts for the past 3 hours trying to figure out where I would have seen Eric before!! The second I saw him on tonight's show I KNEW I recognized him from somewhere..I just can't remember where!! I'm thinking he was on some other reality show too...but I can't find him anywhere. This is going to haunt me in my sleep

(By the way, I think I'm in love with Richard. How adorable was he )

I am pretty sure that Eric is from Season 1 of "Meet My Folks". He was one of the 3 guys trying to go on a trip with the girl. I just wish I could remember what he got busted on during the lie detector!

In all fairness to the media whore(s), I'm betting Eric has a agent that got him these gigs. Lightning struck twice for Eric, getting him on two shows in a row like this. 'Course he's a media whore, that's his aspiration!

Dawg, I really doubt it. In case you missed it, "Meet My Folks" and "For Love Or Money" have the same producer -- Bruce Nash.

Nash ("Nash Entertainment") has produced "Meet My Folks", "Mr. Personality", "For Love Or Money", and now "Who Wants To Marry My Dad?" He was also behind the yet-to-see-the-light-of-day "Around The World in 80 Dates" series

"FLOM2" was filmed on pretty short notice -- just about all the interviews with the FLOM2 bachelors (here, here, and here) mention how they had originally applied for "80 Dates", been approached for the roll of Rob in FLOM1, etc. The casting appears to have been a complete mad scramble to hurry up and get another edition of the series filmed and in the can before the promos for the first edition became airing. There don't seem to have been ANY FLOM2-specific casting done (I never saw a casting call, etc.) My guess is Eric is simply another bachelor that Nash Entertainment had previously dealt with who's number they had handy.

My issue is with Nash more than Eric -- recycling this guy as a reality TV contestant so soon is pretty desperate... far more pathetic than even what FOX did with Toni Ferrari on Paradise Hotel... at least they waited 2 years, these guys didn't wait even 6 months (where I come from, you can't even win a radio contest twice in 6 months -- never mind appear on two different dating shows airing on the same network.)

WOOHOO! Thanks SO much for everyone who contributed to figuring out where Eric the DAW is from! I can't BELIEVE another reality TV "star" has been recycled. I mean, for Toni, there is an obvious reason...she's a HUGE drama queen! That definitely adds excitement to the show and probably makes more people wanna watch (ex: her big "blow-up" at Beau). But ERIC?!? Come on! What does he have?!? He's not THAT cute!

I found a website that recapped the episode. Eric was supposedly extremely cheap and cried all the time. He told the girl on the show that he was a virgin but in the lie detector test it showed that he was lying about this. This was the episode where one of the other bachelors took Eric's boots and tracked mud through the house with them. Eric did end up winning the show (so much for my memory!) but the girl was really disappointed because she didn't feel anything for him.

I found something on the net that says Eric applied for Big Brother 4 also. I cant believe that reality TV is becoming a circuit for some people..millions of people in the country and we end up seeing the same ones!

What I'd like to know is were all these shows just coincidently taped at exactly the same time...or do none of these people watch tv. How is it that on three or four different "reality" shows, you have recycled people and none of the other idiots realize that.

Eric appears to be camera starved. He say's "he really needs this". Wait a minute buddy...didn't you just come back from a free vacation to Hawaii with the hot chick from "Meet My Folks". What, did they not give you any food stamps to buy dinner while you were there? I hope she picks poor Eric or he'll have to go back to his life in the broke down chevy on 3rd street...waahh wahhh.

I don't think he's all that great now but I had a crush on him in high school. He went to the school about 5 miles north of mine and was on the basketball team. I still have newspaper clippings from that year. He looked pretty awesome in his green uniform. They almost won the state title too.

I'm new to this site and truly not much of a reality tv girl, but I stumbled across this conversation and felt compelled to reply. Though I wouldn't claim to know him well, I can truthfully say that Eric is an amazing guy. He has a huge heart and in-person is attractive both on the outside and the inside. I don't think he needs defending by any means- you're all entitled to your own opinions and I wouldn't expect them to change because of something some random chick claiming to know the guy typed on this website. Just step back and recognize that you certainly can't make reasonable judgements from the edited clips of a few "reality" tv shows.

I think he seems to have a great personality and he is so hot...i don't care if i'm the only one who thinks that, but if i were erin from flom2 i would have never in a milion years eliminated eric...he imediately seemed to be completely in it for the right reasons...and who cares if he has been on a few reality tv shows...i can't believe a girl would ever let him get away...you girls can say all you want about him being gay and stuff...but i wish i could have a chance with a guy like him

I can honestly say that I hope Erin gets her heart broken and I hope that whatever guy she picks will pick the money over her because she proved to the world that she is a money-hungry whore. If she liked Rob enough the first time, why did she pick the money over him? If she really wasn't a gold-digger, she would've eliminated Rob, thus proving she didn't choose money over love. Obviously, she is just after the money so I hope she ends up with nothing because she deserves to get dumped on the way she dumped on Rob.

Actually, I thought I was the only one who thought Eric was hot and someone actually told me that I was the only one. I am devastated that he got eliminated. Erin is so obviously a money-hungry whore. She's totally into it for the money, not love. Why else did she ditch Rob the first time around and decided to keep him now? Eric deserves to be with someone way better than Erin, who's way too slutty for him.

O.K., this is just my take on what is going to end up happening..
I think the producers got together with Erin and Rob as soon as they knew Rob was going to pick her and said " Ok, do you guys want to end up together and with 2 million? Ok this what we're going to do.......Erin you just let these guys think you want them and then just as we get to the end BAM!!!! we bring Rob back, you act surprized and shocked and in the end we get a 2nd show and you two get the money..So how does that sound?"

I mean come on people, do we "REALLY" think it will end any different.

And as far as the "Eric must be gay" comments.
If a guy does'nt act like a "Frat house moron" then he's gay?

I think Eric was the yummiest of all the guys. A real hottie.
I would love to spend a beautiful night in a hot tub with him.

Coming from an extremely picky girl, I found Eric to be very good looking and a very sharp young man. It is unfortunate that some people are not able to get that. Now that he has been eliminated, the show does not seem as appealing. -Erin lacks a certain level of class needed to compliment a guy like Eric.

I only caught a few of the episodes with EF, and can't really speak to his personality from going to school with him. Even though Carleton's a tiny college...can't say I spent much time with the basketball team. But I'm positive he wasn't a keg-party hooligan, puking on city sidewalks and plying incoming freshwomen with generic vodka jello-shooters. I would know...our favorite sport was making fun of those guys! Even if did he come off as a little mamby-pamby sometimes, he's vindicated quickly by just looking at nbc.com's little factoids for each contestant. He's light-years more literate than the rest of the guys (I mean come on...Munch for cripes sake?), and refrains from describing his perfect woman as a combination of a hot model + gal with smarts. Speaking to his famewhore tendencies...eh, so what? These kinds of shows draw the whores out of the woodwork...and I also have the feeling that since, as has been widely reported, FLOM2 was throw together so hastily, Nash had his number handy and filled an empty slot with a kid who had been through all the background checks, etc., etc...who was a known quantity. Does that make for riveting reality TV? Not terrifically so...but sweet baby Jeebus on a bicycle, they brought that unemployed public urinator back on the show for you! What more do you people want???

I'm curious as to where the show is going with this. Okay, Rob arrives to give Erin hope that he will choose her over the money. What now? Paige will arrive to confuse Rob as to whether to leave with her now or to continue on with Erin? In the background, poor Chad and Wade watch as the FLOM reunion unfolds, each caring less about Erin as time goes on. Chad, being the smarter of the two (and also being tipped off about Erin's motives) is staying just for the money and Wade, too clueless now to even think about what is going on, is unsure where this is all going... FLOM2 has just turned into a sad state of affairs in my opinion. I don't even care who she selects anymore but I am still going to tune in so I could catch the priceless look on her face when she is dumped in favor of the money!

he looks very familiar the first time i watched the show with my boy friend i think i sorta freaked him out by saying i no him i just don t no where the hell from, about every 5 mins.....he looks a lot like Robbie off of 7th heaven
