Rock on Azmyth! Triad the alliance rocks! Triad the song rocks! After the show finishes, Triad the band will rock! We'll have Jay on the rocking gold coin drum set with his gold coin drumsticks and singing backup on a gold coim microphone. Next we have Azmyth playing lead guitar with his gold coin guitar hocked up to gold coin amps and singing lead on his gold coin microphone. Finally there is me, Ben, playing backup guitar with my gold coin guitar and gold coin amps and singing backup to jay's backup on my gold coin microphone. Good thing we've won so many gold coins.
We could let Jupiter be our groupie, but she doesn't think our fans like our Triad song, so I'd ban her from backstage.

The lesson here is not that bringing back ousted players is the greatest thing ever, as long as I'm the one who's doing it. We all knew that lesson and everyone agreed with it wholeheartedly, including certain hosts who may have had a little too much rum last night and should really consider sobering up now. No, the lesson here is that the powerful shall always remain so, despite the futile efforts of lesser beings to stop them. I personally happen to like that lesson, especially when it applies to me. And in case you were wondering, 'lesser beings' is everyone not watching this show. And the one on FOX, which we shall not discuss because I have a plank here and I'm not exactly reluctant to use it.And the lesson here for John would be 'No, I have no idea how that practically-invisible lasso of thread got around the key in the first place.' Maybe the ghost of Captain Steele put it there. (He was real, you know.) Everyone's aware of his historical hatred for those who would try to steal compasses. Oh -- as long as I'm here, a little message for CBS. Give me a better time slot or I'll start a celebrity edition of the Apprentice. And cast Julie Chen on it. You have been warned.

WEEK EIGHT: Jay the Meanie Well, this is a game, but this is also a game with a lot of moolah at stake. Jay has held few illusions from the beginning. Still, he's so into the treasure that he's not fun to watch most of the time. Case in point, storming back to his room after the previous Pirates' Court, he calls Kendra a "stupid #####." And why does he use this curse to angrily refer to his former toady? Well, as he sips on some rum, you might deduce as he does that he's been played. Worse yet, he's been played by Kendra. But for someone who talks about doing whatever it takes to win, is he so surprised that she would serve her own interests? Apparently so. Angrily so. Well, this is what one calls a double-standard, which is usually born out of a lack of self-awareness. Not to say Jay is not self-aware. Clearly he's a clever chap. Here he's having a momentary lapse of reason. So Kendra's days are now truly numbered. But does Jay, who says he's responsible for every "cut adrift" going to survive the bad blood he's created. If he stabs Azmyth in the back, I predict he's not far behind. -Mr. Horatio
