I understand the choice to partner Evan with her, for Evan's sake, but I think Randi's figure and form would be better highlighted if she were partnered with a taller guy. They are the mini-couple of this season. If she was very slight, it might work better as an illusion to the public that they weren't both so small. I think they are definitely cranking up the fun. Lil C. out the box with a bang. Evan there is a certain divinity to your moves and you may need to bust out of it. You gotta approach it differently. Randi, firecracker, good job. You had a great partnership going on. Solid beginning. Mary. (more fun counter) If there was two that were built for the jive it would be these two. Little power houses. Should have been the best and fell short a little bit. Evan you didn't quite get the triple step. Weren't getting the swinging of the hit. Little bit disappointing, but a great way to start the show. Nigel. You are built for it. Evan I thought you would be better than you were. Listen first then boo. The double bounce. Somehow you were so into the floor and a little syncopated your retraction like a snakes tongue. The fantasy has to become the reality, but like a nightmare. Sharp and clean, but came off corny missing some nectar. Mary. Like MJ and Britney. Didn't seem in sync. Not the same flow to it, the chemistry didn't work which is crazy for me. I don't understand how that didn't happen. You didn't really nail it. A shock, but I love the two of you. Nigel. I really felt your earlier performances weren't honest, but this was something else. You showed rise and fall. Some of the work wasn't the best but so many unbelievable things that blew me away. Asuka you are usually over the top with Latin all the time. The passion on your face was so endearing and believable. Lil C. Vitolio the choppy steps were compensated for by the sincerity and authenticity of your emotion. You have a specific posture that you are not afraid to be vulnerable, when you unfurl yourself. Asuka a dominate submission could have taken the lead. Nigel. Sometimes I do think dancers get soppy, but if anyone wasn't touched they are heartless. The lines were good. For some of the shows for the duration there may not be a lot of time for other projects, but it probably depends if they want you every week or a couple of times during the season. I think the pros dancing on DWTS would be more tied up than a someone choreographing as they could have several people doing that and it wouldn't disrupt the show. This is one of the most technical things and it is tough. You can't show us the strain when you lift your lady. Your face is great in your work but when you lift you can't go like that. I was getting a headache trying to watch the routines. I was trying to watch on the computer with Media Player but I ended up pausing it while I was on the phone with WDW, making restaurant reservations. By the time I got off the phone, I was about 40 minutes behind the broadcast and I still had more research to do on the Web for my vacation. I was trying to watch the show on Media Player out of the corner of my eye while doing my other stuff and found I just couldn't do it because the camera work was so dizzying.
