"Goin' To Bootcamp!"
So, in rooting around the web to get caught up on things, turns out this season there won't be a Vegas week. Instead, the next round is Bootcamp, which means performances before the judges and live audiences ... in New York.

Any of these acts really want to get to Vegas, however briefly, are going to have to earn it.

That said, I am going to use this thread to catalog the acts that got a pass to bootcamp, per audition episode. Make whateer other use of it you want. At some point there is some AGT related stuff going on at The Today Show which should also be figured out.

6. "RE: 901"
Skipping Judgement Week:Blue Journey, Jonaton, Green Monster, Derrick and Leeman, one Heart Dance Team, Dan Naturman, Acte 2, Emil and Daryl

First Category: Magic

Mike Super and Desmond- Great trick. I wish he had a more mentalist spin on it myself but very good.

Psycho Jack- failed prop magic. Sent home immidiately. His first trick wasn't that great anyway.

Franklin Saint- Do not remember this guy. bored. bored. bored. I prefer Mike Super.

Matt Franko- a poor man's smoothini. Very cool. But I am pretty sure I know how he did it.

My opinion: No smoothini =( I would only take Mike Super

Category: Dance

Sean and Luke (Tap Guys): Not the greatest tappers. But I really like the choreography

Solto Ensuguvolo (robo contortionist): Meh

Dragon House "The Agents": Much better than the last guy

Andrew and John (Salsa guys): Wow very good. Moving on immidiately. I really like that the judges are making some choices on the fly.

My Opinion: Either the agents or the tap get a spot.

Category: kid singers UGH!!!

Quintavius Johnson: don't remember him. wow kid hs some pipes. some minor problems with the transitions.

Grace Ann Gregorio: Another phantom piece. missed a high note. pass.

Mara Justine: I didn't like her that much last time. nope nope nope. not for me. Not ok with how they told her she was through.

Julia Goodwin: Dad can play piano. Daughter can sing. Talented family. she should have gone through instead of Mara.

My opinion: Take Mara away and give the spots to Quintavius and Julia

Category: Comedy

Darik Santos: I love this guy. My type of comedy. Hilarious.

Wendy Lieman: Weak set, No transitions.

Joe Matarese: He bombed

My Opinion: Only Darik should move on.

Category: Variety

Juan Carlos: Roller-dude. Funny but no chance to move on. No please.

Jon Narum: yo-yo guy. I can't believe some of the tricks he pulled off.

Loop Rawlins: Great act as usual. Its so fun to watch but his act could get very repetitive.

Mighty Atom Jr.: 93 year old strong man. This guy is so awesome. Gotta go on.

JD Anderson: Peels phonebook. folds metal. tackles ice. the strongman killing it.

My Opinion: Both strong guys and yoyo guy.

Category: Female Singers yawn

Emily West: Did not like her at all last time. Just don't like her voice.

Carly Jo Jackson: Ewwww. I know that she has a style but again did not like it.

Anna Clending: Good voice but she rushed the song.

Kelly Glover: Second chancer. Great voice.

My Opinion: Ana and kelly should move on but I think Emily will steal annas spot.

DAY2

Category: Kids Variety (this is a category???)

Adrian Romoff: This kid has charisma. And playing Gershwin. You go kid. Way to go.

Byambas Contortion Girls: Weird music choice and this is coming from a disney nut. Pass.

Carter and Anika: Not nearly as good as this type in years past.

Kaycee and Gabe: not the traditional kids dance act. Howie was right gabe had the better moves.

My opinion: Only Adrian really deserves to move on.

Category: Music Groups

Kiernan and Finian Make Peace: Original song. Love their voices. catchy tune. but I liked the sting cover from last time.

Willis Clan: The corny country vantrapps. good to hear more than the one voice. They blend well. Dancing is still corny. But a much better showing.

Beach Avenue: Original song. a little repetitive. Not as good as last song.

Sons of Serendip. My fave act I was scared they were gonna be skipped. My god their voices are beautiful and they play their own music. Must buy their albulm.

Livy, Matt, and Sammy: forgot these guys. Meh they are ok.

Jonah Smith: Lost their drummer. But then rocked it.

My Opinion: Sons of Serendip, Jonah Smith, MakePeace, and maybe the willis clan.

Category: Better Variety

Dustins Dojo: Hilarious guys.I heart Terry. Howard is gonna go to bat for these guys.

Bob Markworth: he missed. shocker he missed twice. Hate to say it but he has to go.

Top Hogs: That pig can do math. maybe not.

Emmanuel and Phillip Hudson: comedy rappers. not very funny.

Flight Crew Jump Rope: Wow that act built and built. Not sure even The Chicago Boys could have pulled that off.

Opinion: Only Dojo and Jump rope should move on.

Category: Male Singers

Frank Dimitri: Old crooner. Loved this guy in auditions. Just great.

Jacob Curlee: Thought this guy was over hyped. too soft. nerves showing through. Jut not ready for this stage.

Justin Rhodes: Wow great voice. Really stepped it up from auditions. The judges didn't seem to like it. I did.

Sal Gonzalez: I like Sal. I hate sob stories. He's a bit outclassed here I think.

Miguel Dakota: competant.

Paul Yeti: This guy was great last time. Nice song choice. Could see the nerves but he warmed up as it went on. Moving On.

Where was the guy in the baby costume???

My Opinion: I would prefer Frank and Justin. But I think Miguel will sneak in there.

Category: Dance Crews

Baila Conmigo: The not good enough til the kids came out group. Timing is off again. Do not like these guys. BOOO! Can not believe they were sent through.

Bad Boys of Ballet: interesting group. Wow that was impressive timing at the end.

Jasmine Flowers: Wow. I was worried they wouldnt top their audition. They did.

Tic Tac Entertainment: Don't remember these guys. Meh little messy and nothing I hadn't seen before

My Opinion: only one more act likely to move on. Got to be Jasmine Flowers.

Category: Acrobats

(Possibly the deepest category this year)

Christian Stoinev: WHATS IN THE BAG!!! LOL. Did not expect that. but not sure that was as incredible as the finger balance. Liked him though.

Richard and Ashlee: Made a mistake but the stunt was impressive

AcroArmy: Don't remember these guys. They did some insane things. Very impressive.

X Pogo stunt team: These guys will need to bring it to survive. Man they brought it. Fire did go out but man those tricks were great.

Missing some great acts. Where were audrey, Carlos, and the kamikazee fireflies.

My opinion send all of them except maybe richard and ashlee.

Decision Time:
Frank Demitri (especially since jacob and Miguel made it)
Rollerbladeguy made it. WHAT????
Dustin's Dojo missed. WHAT????
Why do they hate the old guys.
a ton of bands made it through (deservingly)
Both tap and agents make it. NICE

tough week 1 ahead. four singers plus the jump ropers, david and leeman, and jasmine flowers.

5. "RE: Goin' To Bootcamp!"
Bootcamp, eh? Now that's actually novel. I thought they were putting way too many acts through with the adoration and love of all four judges.

false in some sense, meaningless in some
sense, true and false in some sense,
true and meaningless in some sense,
false and meaningless in some sense, and
true and false and meaningless in some
sense."
